Hi I’m Karen and I run/own Karen Smith’s Childminding setting.I still have 1 space left for a September starter .. I also collect From Warren Primary School.
PLEASE if you are considering having a child start with funding .. We as childminders need to apply for the child’s funding in the month of July .. therefore we need to submit the codes into the council in July FOR the council to prepare the payments to cover your child’s fee from September…
I’m an ofsted registered Childminder on Chafford Hundred Station side.. I have all my qualifications, DBS , and First aid.
I accept the 30hrs funding and any other government schemes. Please contact me with any enquiries or interest you may have.

As from September I have 2 full time spaces available.. also 2 part time spaces.. I also pick up from warren primary school .

Wow it’s been a while since I’ve posted on here .But believe me we been very busy with ourAutumn craft, Halloween things, fireworks and our poppys x here a few pictures from our busy few weeks

Raining today after a lovely out and about week xx
Used the leaves we had collected to play with and use x playdooh was asked for so we did lots indoors this morning x even throwing leaves to catch x as you can see lots of activity done with happy little ones x

Well a busy few weeks here at the setting .. weather has been glorious so made the most of it so we’ve been out every day x
Leaf picking, leaf painting , squirrel hunting , hedgehog making, autumn story’s , lots of dancing and singing, and lots of park time after our walks x also got our display finished x busy children x

What a beautiful day to be out xx the visit to the acorn tree and searching for them was great fun . Then some exercise, learning about our shadows , making them move, getting them to be big and small was great fun xx we had a lovely story time and finish it off went to the park xx

So after holidays and summer holidays we are back to it x autumn is slowly settling in x we have a few new starters joining us to x

Lovely morning over belhus x fun feeding ducks playing in the park finished off with a picnic x and yes tge rain did stay away x

Well wow look how big our sunflowers grew x one very proud little lady xx even a bee visited it xx

Safe to say our sunflower is a tall one this year xx the children have been measuring them with the rulers surprised it’s still standing x

So due to weather today’s activity had to be changed quickly x so indoor day x learning about butterflies and caterpillars, cutting and sticking, making green playdooh for caterpillars finished off with a giant puzzle x as it’s insect week hopefully tomorrow we will get out on our big hunt x
