Hi everyone. Its been a while since I updated you on the sunflowers. My pre-school sunflowers have grown a lot since the last post and I have named them - Bob, Alfred and Sunny. Now I had to create an area in my garden for them not to get away from the slugs and snails, I had an even bigger problem - footballs. So they are at the back of the garden and they seem to be enjoying their spot and I am watering them lots because of all the beautiful sunshine we have been having. Bob is 80cms tall, Alfred is 73cms tall and Sunny is 63cms tall. There is even flowerhead starting to appear on Bob so hopefully a flower will appear soon.

I will update you again when the flowers appear. Have a great half term everyone.

🌻 🌻 🌻

Hi everyone. I hope you had a great Easter weekend. Its been over 3 weeks since my initial sunflower post so thought it was time to give you an update. Firstly, not all my seeds grew so some of you may be in the same position. There should have been 3 seeds in each pot, i have 3 between the 2 pots and 2 have grown tall enough for support. Im not sure how much longer I can keep them in the small pots but am reluctant to plant outdoors as im sure the slugs and snails might attack.

My activity today is to sow some more sunflower seeds as they are my favourite summer flower and I have an allotment which needs some brightening up.
