I also tutor Year 7 Maths as some children find the transition from Year 6 to Year 7 difficult. I teach one to one and also online. I am a University Graduate and I also studied at Gravesend Grammar School for Girls. I have been on the Board of Governors at a Primary School for 7 years, therefore, I have a very clear understanding of the way in which the curriculum is taught from Reception to Year
6. I have helped many students in gaining confidence and a clearer understanding of the subjects being taught. One of my aims is to enhance the students' academic skills and teach them with a technique that suits them best as I understand that each child has individual needs. Initially, I tutored my 3 children in preparation for their 11+ exams, they all passed and managed to secure places at the Grammar Schools. I am a dedicated and successful tutor who enjoys working with children and I gain great satisfaction from helping children to excel in their studies.
