School Skiing
On Monday seven pupils from Years 4, 5 & 6 arrived at school extra early to travel to The Snow Dome in Hemel Hempstead to take part in the ISA National Skiing Tournament. Each child had a few practice runs down the slope and then went straight into timed slalom races. All seven of our racers made it down the slope in 1 piece and with legal runs which meant as a team we had all seven racers on the leaderboard.
An amazing day which everyone enjoyed, well done to Annabel, Floyd, Nasos, Jack, Orla, Elina and Oscar G β›·

Year 4

An exciting start to the new academic year...
The children in Year 4 created self portraits with half of their faces showing their outer-self and the other half showing their inner-self. Can you see what they enjoy, how they feel and what they think from their illustrations?

Year 4 at The Woodville for a lunchtime concert

Judith Choi-Castro who played the violin, was accompanied by JP Ekins on the piano. Both provided beautiful classical music to the audience. With the crowd watching, Year 4 even managed to sneak up on stage and take a photograph with the performers.
A wonderful way to enjoy the afternoon.

Year 4 visited Lullingstone Villa to experience what life was like during Roman Britain.

An English heritage leader took them on an informative tour of the ancient remains. Children also had the chance to become archaeologists and dug up some of their own artefacts to study.

Lunch was enjoyed outdoors and children even had an opportunity to buy some souvenirs.

A fantastic day out, learning about the past and seeing an historical site first hand.
