Our little graduates! 🎓💛
This week we celebrated all of our amazing children who are off to school or nursery. What a privilege it’s been to watch them grow, learn, play, and make friends.

We’ll be praying for every child (and every adult! 🤍) as this exciting new chapter begins: that they’ll settle in well, make lovely friends, and know they’re loved every step of the way.

We’re going to miss you all so much, but we hope it’s not goodbye. We’d love to see you again soon at our events!

We did everything we could to stay cool at Peas ’n’ Pods today, including two lovely water trays that kept little hands splashing, pouring and exploring. It was such a refreshing way to play together.

For craft, the children made their very own music shakers, choosing colours, filling them up and proudly giving them a little test shake.

During story time we talked about how we can talk to God when we feel scared, and the children shared moments that make them feel a bit wobbly. Afterwards, we used our shakers to sing songs together and it was a joyful, noisy finish to the morning.

Next week is a very important one. It is our last session of the term until September, and we will be celebrating with food, crafts and something very special for those heading off to school. The details of that part are a surprise, but it is going to be a beautiful moment.

We cannot wait to see you there.

You are invited to a joyful End of Year Party as we celebrate another year of fun, friendship, and little milestones.

Alongside our crafts, snacks, and simple toddler activities, we’ll also be marking a very special moment; celebrating our not‑so‑little peas who will be starting school in September. It’s such a privilege to have watched them grow, learn, and blossom.

We had such a colourful morning at Peas ’n’ Pods today. The children loved decorating their bright, wiggly fish using tissue paper, glue and lots of imagination. Every fish looked completely different, which made our craft table feel like a little underwater world.

During story time we talked about the part in Genesis where God made all the fish in the sea; each one unique, clever and wonderfully designed.

Thank you for another joyful session with your little ones. Their creativity always brings the room to life.

We’ve got a lovely month ahead at Peas ’n’ Pods, filled with colour, creativity and plenty of giggles. Each Wednesday in July brings something new for your little ones to explore — from tropical fish crafts to homemade shakers and some very sweet bee‑themed finger printing. It’s a gentle, joyful way to ease into summer together.

We’ll be taking a short break on the 23rd as we pause for the summer holidays, but we’re back again on 9th September.

And don’t forget — City Praise Centre is hosting a Community Fun Day on Sunday 26th July. It’s a brilliant day for the whole family with activities, games and plenty to enjoy. We’d love to see you there.

Unfortunately, Peas ’n’ Pods will not be running tomorrow. The building holds a lot of heat and is already reaching above 30°C!

We want to keep everyone safe and cool, so please take care in this heat, stay hydrated, and look after one another. 💛

Happy Father’s Day to all the wonderful dads, grandads, carers and volunteers who bring so much love and laughter to Peas n Pods. Today we celebrate the kindness, patience and joy you share with your little ones each week.

The children worked hard on their special gifts this week and it was lovely to see the care and excitement in their faces as they created something just for you.

Thank you for being part of our Peas n Pods family and for the warmth you bring to every session. You make our community such a special place to grow together.

Today at Peas n Pods we were very busy creating something top secret, so there are no photos to share just yet. All will be revealed on Sunday and we cannot wait for you to see why the children worked so carefully on their special surprise.

During story time we learnt about the prodigal son and how the father welcomed his child with love and joy. It was a lovely reminder of the kindness and patience that grown ups show every day, especially the ones who care for our little ones. The children carried that theme into their craft in a very sweet way.
