What a truly wonderful and exciting week we have had celebrating Easter! 🐰

Throughout the week, the children have been busy learning all about Easter, including the meaning behind the Easter story. They showed great interest and curiosity as we explored why Easter is celebrated, and it was lovely to see their understanding grow through activities, and storytelling.

We also enjoyed a wide range of fun, hands on activities. The children got creative making beautiful Easter cards.

They also had lots of fun making and decorating their own Easter cakes. The highlights of the week was our Easter egg hunt! The children were so excited as they searched high and low, working together finding hidden eggs.

We were also delighted to welcome so many of you to our Easter workshop. It was such a pleasure to have parents and carers join us for craft activities, and the children absolutely loved sharing this special time with you. Thank you so much for coming along and helping to make it such a memorable experience.

To make the week even more special, we had a visit from a real life bunny! The children were fascinated and thoroughly enjoyed observing and learning about it, there was lots of excitement and gentle curiosity during this lovely experience.
We ended our fantastic week with a fun filled party, where the children were thrilled to meet the Easter Bunny! 🐰 ❤️

🌸🐻 Spring Fun at Preschool 🐻🌸

Last week we was making the most of the season with lots of hands-on, creative learning!

🌿 The children loved exploring nature printing in playdough, using flowers, sticks and other natural resources to create beautiful patterns and textures.

🐣 Our counting chicks activity has been a big hit, helping develop early maths skills in a fun and engaging way as we celebrate spring.

🌼 We also set up a wonderful perfume making station, where the children used real flowers and explored different scents – a lovely sensory experience!

🐻 And of course, we had a special Bear Day, filled with bear-themed activities, stories and lots of imaginative play.

It’s been a joyful week full of creativity, curiosity and springtime exploration 🌷✨

Last week at preschool was full of fun learning and creativity! ☘️

We celebrated St Patrick’s Day by making our very own shamrock musical shakers and exploring sounds and rhythm. For Deaf Awareness Day, the children learned some basic signs and even practised signing their own names, which they really enjoyed.

We also took part in Red Nose Day by wearing red and decorating delicious biscuits with bright red icing - a messy but fun activity for everyone!

It’s been a wonderful week of exploring, learning, and celebrating together. 😊

Last week at preschool was full of exciting experiences! A group of children enjoyed a lovely visit to our local library, where they explored books and developed their love for reading. We also celebrated Mother’s Day with special activities, creating thoughtful cards for loved ones. Alongside this, the children took part in fun science activities, sparking curiosity and hands on learning. A wonderful week of exploration, creativity, and discovery at Twinkles Preschool ✨🥰

What a lovely week we’ve had at preschool! 🌟

The children enjoyed learning about Ramadan, exploring why it is a special and important time for many families. We talked about kindness, sharing, and helping others, and the children took part in some lovely themed activities and discussions. 🌙

We also had lots of fun celebrating World Book Week! 📚 The children shared their favourite stories, enjoyed wearing their pyjamas and took part in a variety of book-themed activities that encouraged imagination, creativity, and a love of reading.
