💚 We’re proud to share that our setting is now supporting local families in and around Gravesend by providing access to a community food donation box outside our home 🏡

We are working closely with The WGYB organisation to help ensure that basic food provisions reach those who need them most. With the rising cost of living, many families are facing challenges, and even small acts of kindness can make a meaningful difference.

Our donation box will be available most days, and any contributions, no matter how small are always greatly appreciated 🫶🏻 Items such as tinned foods, pasta, rice, and other long-life essentials can go a long way in supporting a local family.

There is never any expectation, only gratitude.

Today the children decided to turn the gymnastics mat upside down… and just like that, it became two tunnels! What followed was hours of crawling in and out, taking turns, helping each other through, and so many giggles and belly laughs 🥰

Through their play they were developing so much more than they realised:

🔵 Physical development: crawling, climbing, balancing
🟣 Social skills: sharing space, taking turns, playing together as friends
🔵 Emotional development: confidence, joy, connection

🎃 A Little Belated Halloween Photo Dump! 👻
(We’ve been far too busy learning, playing, and having FUN!)

It’s been a whirlwind couple of weeks here — between our messy-play mornings, early phonics, music sessions and all the giggles in between… Halloween photos ended up sitting on my phone a little longer than planned! 😅

This week we have been looking at emotions and trying to better understand them. The children watched some short clips on emotions, we did impressions and made one another laugh, they did an activity where we create an emotion from a card we chose. Some were easier than others but it was a great way to help them understand and learn more about emotions. Well done everyone 👏🏼😊
