🌊🐠 World Ocean Day 🐠🌊

Today the little munchkins enjoyed an ocean themed sensory tray filled with bubble foam, sharks and coral 🫧🦈 🪸

🦕❄️ We had so much fun today! ❄️🦕

The munchkins worked together to hatch baby dinosaurs from frozen eggs using a wooden hammer to break the ice and pipettes to sq**rt green water onto them, while practising their number skills too! 🦖🔢💚

Today we explored natural loose parts with homemade playdough, creating faces, talking about how we were feeling and naming our eyes, nose, mouth, ears and hair together 💚

💚 Mental Health Awareness Week 💚

This week we are exploring feelings and emotions through stories, sensory play and lots of conversations ✨

🌍💚 Earth Day 💚🌍

Today we celebrated Earth Day with a lovely hands-on science experiment 🧪

Using vinegar, food colouring and bicarbonate of soda, the little munchkins created their very own “earth” and watched it come to life with lots of exciting fizzing! ✨

We talked about the sounds we could hear as it bubbled and fizzed, and explored the beautiful colours we could see as they mixed together 💙💚

The little munchkins used their own words to describe what they could see, with some saying it looked like magic ✨💫 🥰
