Charly's Little Munchkins Ofsted registered Childminder based in Grantham 🩷 ✨ My name is Charly Howitt, I am a registered childminder with Ofsted. I have been a mum since 2009.

I hold a Paediatric First Aid certificate and a Food Hygiene certificate. I am fully trained in Safeguarding Children and have a valid up to date DBS check. I have a 13 year old daughter and a 10 year old son. I have been married for 14 years. Being a mother myself I recognise how important it is to have a calm, friendly and family orientated environment for children to live and play in. I aim to provide lots of fun and exciting activities for the children in my care to encourage and nurture their development.

Look what’s just arrived, our brand new four seater prams! ✨

We were all so excited that as soon as they arrived, we had to take them out for their very first walk 🥰

The Little Munchkins absolutely loved sitting together in them, and we can’t wait for many more adventures in our lovely new wheels! ❤️

Our little munchkin spent over 45 minutes focused on this lovely bird themed activity

They enjoyed scooping and pouring the birdseed with their hands and wooden scoops, exploring the different textures and looking closely at the beautiful patterns on the feathers

There was lots of lovely conversation about the different birds and their colours

We also practised counting and matched the wooden birds to our flashcards

Eleven wonderful years of big smiles, adventures, precious memories and watching so many little munchkins learn, grow and shine 🥹💕

I feel incredibly lucky to have a job that I love so much. Thank you to every family who has trusted us with their precious little ones over the years, you have all been such a special part of our journey🥰

Ending our summer term with a beautiful trip out to our local park 🌿🌸☀️

We spent the morning exploring nature, looking at the trees, leaves and flowers, searching for bugs and spotting wildlife along the way 🐞🦋🌳

We enjoyed some lovely calm moments by the water, listening to the peaceful sounds around us, before lots of giggles and fun at the park! 🥰

The munchkins loved exploring all the play equipment, climbing, balancing and sharing lots of meaningful conversations along the way. Such a lovely way to finish our summer term together 💚✨

Our Little Munchkins have been getting creative making their own beautiful butterflies 🎨✨

They added lots of bright paint colours, folded their butterflies together and pressed down before opening them up to reveal the gorgeous patterns! 🌈🦋

Today our little munchkins explored a Commotion in the Ocean sensory tray filled with water beads, sea plants and ocean creatures 💙

We enjoyed sharing the story, naming the colours, and searching the tray to find and match the sea creatures to the book ✨
