It’s with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Magpie, truly a troop favourite. He was a very large lad, with bags of character, whose bravery made him a perfect candidate for a Standard horse, a job in which he excelled. Magpie could always be heard in the yard kicking at his door for extra food - eating being his favourite pastime!
We thank him for his service with The Life Guards, who will miss him terribly, but we know that he will undoubtedly be having fun and causing trouble on the other side.

My eight year old daughter's poster. The BHS have used it on their page and its had a very impressive reaction. Please share it everywhere you can to get the message across to all drivers!

Latest update. I can confirm that the British Horse Society have asked permission to use this as an official poster. They have also featured Sofia in their magazine. Also the poster won a police horse competition so Sofia gets to go and meet the police horses at their stables and find out all about how they are trained!!!!
