Yesterday our inaugural Cliffedale Awards took place in church. Children, staff, governors, parents / carers and relatives all celebrated the success of our pupils this year. Awards were given to 3 nominees from each class in the categories of Achievement, Progress and Overcoming Barriers. There was recognition for Sport, Play and Lunchtime Leaders.
Year 6 pupils were celebrated by winning awards for ‘The Cliffedale Outstanding Attainment Award’, ‘The Cliffedale Outstanding Progress Award, and our very own staff legacy awards - ‘The Mrs Lucy McBain Cliffedale Champion Award’ and ‘The Mr Phil Brown Cliffedale Overcoming Barriers (Resilience) Award’
Year 6 sang their closing song from their end of year show and there was not a dry eye in the house!
Thank you to everyone who supported the morning but most importantly - thank you to our children for being such superstars!!
