KS1 are learning all about Rules & Responsibilities in PSHE: Citizenship.
Yesterday they had a visit from PCSOs Crogan and Stray to talk to them about the law and how to be a good citizen. They even got Mr Eardley to dress up as a police officer! What do you think? Should he change career or stick to teaching PE? 🤷♀️😀
A big thank you to the two PCSOs for giving up their time to come and talk to us. All the children really appreciated it.

Dahl House enjoyed a film afternoon today after winning the termly House competition last term. They ate popcorn and drank squash whilst watching Despicable Me 3.

Our Year 6’s have been battling all types of winter weather to complete their cycling proficiency this week.
They were taught the Highway Code, bike maintenance & checks and how to ride safely.

We’re on the hunt for unwanted complete Lego sets for the Pastoral team to help our children. They must be sets not just bricks as our children want to be able to build something using a set of instructions to enhance their cognitive skills.

We are so proud of our children who competed in the Indoor Athletics competition 🙌
They showed incredible determination and resilience, stayed positive throughout, and worked brilliantly as a team. Every child displayed fantastic enthusiasm and effort, giving an outstanding performance from start to finish.
Their hard work paid off with an overall 4th place finish, just 10 points behind 3rd — an amazing achievement to be proud of! 💪👏
Well done to everyone involved — you represented the school superbly! 🏆
