What a lovely card to have received from the Dravet Syndrome UK Foundation. We were grateful to be able to support this important charity. It was all thanks to the generosity of our families. A big thanks to a wonderful baker who kindly donated the tasty treats!

All at St Mary's would like to say a huge CONGRATULATION'S to our wonderful Year 6 pupils. You have been A-MAZ-ING this week and tried so hard. We are soooooo proud of each and every one of you! Now it's time for a restful weekend. : )

The Crowning of Mary - May Procession
It was wonderful to celebrate the Crowning of Mary! Thank you so much to all our year 4 chilldren, all our volunteer readers and Fr Jonathan for leading the ceremony. They put in so much work and it was beautiful!

Year 2 have been sculptors today! They have thoroughly enjoyed exploring clay and have had a go at creating a piece of art. They have done so well and I can't wait to see what they are able to produce by then end of this half term!

What a great start to the new term we have had!

On Wednesday, we celebrated World Earth Day! All our children had a fabulous time learning about our environment and what we can do to have a positive impact on our world. We are stewards of our earth and need to look after it. Our Eco-team lead a whole school assembly and set a mission for our pupils to reduce the amount of pre-packaged food and wrappers in our lunchboxes. Didn't they do a great job!

On Thursday, our Yr5 pupils set off to the National Space Centre! A fantastic time was had by all, especially inside the UK's largest planetarium!
