Woodlands Nursery

What an amazing summer we had☀️ All of the children enjoyed exploring the outdoors and making the most of the good weather! We also said our goodbyes to another group of preschool leavers at graduation and the whole nursery took part in another sports day which was a great success!

We’re now ready for the rainy autumn days and lots of events coming up over the next few weeks…🥰

Spring Time at Woodlands Nursery🌸🦋🐣

During spring this year we enjoyed watching everything that grows and changes throughout the spring, minibeasts and other animals! We celebrated Easter, Holi and Eid and we even had a fire engine come to visit us🚒

What a wonderful start to our year we have had here at woodlands nursery, we have been exploring lots of wonderful activities and have been learning about ourselves and the world around us. We have been celebrating Christmas, penguin day, Australia day,chinese new year, st andrews day and lots more! We had a wonderful pre school nativity that our parents came to see and valentines event that was fun for all! 😊 we are looking forward to the warmer weather and lots of spring fun and activities in all our rooms! We have a sponsored readathon next week as we celebrate all our favourites stories for world book day! 📚 ☀️ 🌸

We have been very busy here at woodlands nursery over the last few months exploring harvest, south africa day, halloween, diwali, nursery rhyme week, thanks giving, st andrews day and lots more! See below all the fun activities we have been enjoying! We took part in a woodlands watch and have been checking what wild life is living around us with an outdoor camera. We have a robin that visits that we have been feeding and have been enjoying the snow last week! Over the next month we will be performing our amazing Nativity and enjoying lots of Christmas fun!

We have had such a fun summer over the last couple of months with lots of fun activities throughout all our rooms! ☀️ We have an amazing new space in our den that we have been enjoying, its a great quiet space for more fucussed activities. We have had our pre school graduation party 🎉 and have seen them go off on their next adventure of school aswell as our first sports day! Sports day was a great fun for all the rooms and we will be holding one every year! 🏃‍♂️ We have enjoyed exploring and celebrating the Olympics and finished the summer with a festival week! 🎊 We hope to see you to celebrate 20 years of woodlands nursery with our 20th birthday party, Saturday 21st September 3-5pm 🎈

We have been very busy over the past few months at nursery! With Mother’s Day and Father’s Day events, world ocean day fun and celebrating Holi and Eid. Our children have enjoy a book club month and have been out exploring the grounds lots during the 30 days wild in June 😊🦋 next month we will be looking forward to celebrating our school leavers with a fun graduation and we will be holding our first ever amazing sports day event for all our wonderful children and parents! 🏃🏼‍♂️ 🥇 below in our pictures we also have all the fantastic new books we received from our reading challenge back in March!
