You may have noticed our banners appear around our lovely village last week - it seems someone was so excited about our open morning, they have taken the details away with them! 🙄

Incase you didn't get chance to see it, here's our banner again 😀

We look forward to opening our doors on Saturday 20th June

We have had the best time this afternoon taking part in our sponsored colour dash. 😁😁

This colourful event was all about coming together as a school community to have fun while raising money for a truly special children’s charity, Lifting Children’s Hopes.

Through our partnership with LCH, our school’s children and families directly benefit from the vital support they provide. Their work helps bring comfort, care and hope to children when they need it most, while also supporting thousands of children and families across our wider community.

It was lovely to end the half term sharing the artwork produced by the children from Art week. The children have created some pretty impressive pieces in the style of their class artist.
EYFS/Year 1 were learning about Vincent Van Gogh, Year 2/3 thoroughly enjoyed Jackson Pollock's splatter art and Year 4/5/6 were inspired by Georgia O' Keefe.

Preschool enjoyed a lovely trip to the windmill in wymeswold today.
They had a wonderful time exploring the woods and talking about what they could see around them.

Year 3 and 4 had a brilliant morning at the cricket festival last week!
The children's confidence grew throughout the morning as they learnt new skills and enjoyed the game of cricket in a fun and inclusive environment.

Thank you to the sports leaders who supported and coached the children and well done to everyone involved!

What a wonderful day we had stepping back in time as Ancient Egyptians! A perfect way to end our history topic.

What a brilliant start to the term — this morning our EYFS and Year 1 pupils visited Buckminster Estate Farm. They enjoyed meeting the animals, learning about crops, lambing and farm machinery. They finished the visit with a wonderful nature walk through the woodland. Our children were so inquisitive and interested to learn more that their questions continued throughout the day!

Thank you to the team at Buckminster Farm for organising another wonderful experience for our children.

This week, we attended the Primary Schools Tennis Festival at the Melton Mowbray Tennis Club🎾. We took part in eight different tennis activities to help us focus on improving our skills - for some of us, this was the first time playing tennis!🏆🥳
The children all had a wonderful time.

Happy World Book Day! 📚✨

We celebrate World Book Day to encourage reading, celebrate books and authors, and help more people enjoy stories.

We have had some incredible costumes today — it has been wonderful seeing so many brilliant book characters brought to life around school.

The children look amazing! 🌟📖
