We were all very excited last week when we had the big reveal of our new school banner. Following our competition last year, the winning design was recreated by Mrs Driver over the Summer Holidays. A very big thank you Mrs Driver for your creative skills, time, and patience in creating our incredible banner.

Our children and families all enjoyed the End Of Year service in St.Sebastian's Church Great Gonerby Lincolnshire on Thursday - each class shared their highlights from this academic year. 😃

On Friday night the Year 6 enjoyed their Leavers Party, a waterfight 💦, bingo, pizza pizza and more pizza 🍕, toasted marshmallows, a giant game of hide and seek and some very exuberant singing!!
Thank-you to Miss Atkinson, Mrs Parnham, Mrs Woolerton and Mr Parnham for staying and helping make the evening so much fun! 😀😀

Yesterday Year 6 danced, sang and performed 'Gigglebox' to a very proud audience of Y6 families.
They had fun and made everyone laugh with their jokes and audience participation. Well done Year 6 you were fabulous and we will miss you all.

Last week in the hot hot weather we had Sports Day! The sun shone and the children gave it everything they had in front of a field packed with parents! They showed Perseverance and Respect cheering each other on and helping their friends!!
Well done St Sebastian's you were all amazing!!

What a lovely village we live in .. Last weekend one of our pupils sold lemonade and cakes to raise money and two lovely ladies, Diane and Carrie donated the proceeds from the Gonerby Yard Sale all towards the school bell.
Mr Beck has also organised a Fund Raising Raffle with proceeds going to the school bell fund! The tickets are on sale at the school office with some amazing prizes available, first prize is £100 cash!! The raffle is being drawn on the 9th August 2026.

This afternoon we had some visitors in school!! Capybara, dogs, frogs, a pink cow, bee and even a lobster!🐸🐝🦩🦞
The children all really enjoyed the surprise!

🌱🌿☘️We enjoyed Collective Worship outside yesterday, celebrating our value of Creativity. We loved working in mixed age groups and making new friends. Just have a look at some of the amazing thing we created!! ☘️🌿🌱

We have loved out open the book stories this year in St.Sebastian's Church Great Gonerby Lincolnshire. Every half term these wonderful volunteers take the time to share and act out Bible stories for us to enjoy. We sometimes even get to join in which we love. Thank you so much to the team and we look forward to seeing you again in September. 😀
