⭐ PTFA MEETING - 18th September ⭐

Calling all parents, grandparents & friends of Ingoldsby Academy!
Come along to our next PTFA meeting at 3pm on Friday 18th September and find out how you can get involved with our school.

You can help as little or as much as you like. Whether that’s lending a hand at an event, helping behind the scenes, sharing ideas, or simply coming along to support us. Every bit of help makes a difference!

We’d also love to hear about new fundraising ideas and suggestions for events or activities that could raise money for the school and benefit our children. Wraparound care will also be available for children during the meeting.

We look forward to seeing lots of new and familiar faces!

Can you believe it’s already been a week since we broke up for the summer holidays? That also means it’s been one week since we said goodbye to our wonderful Year 6s, class of 2026 💙

During the final few days of term, we had lots of special activities planned to celebrate their time with us. Many of these were suggested by the children themselves and made possible thanks to the support of our amazing PTFA and staff.

From keyring making and cupcake decorating to a Year 6 families vs KS2 rounders match, there was plenty of fun to enjoy. The children also had the chance to collect messages and signatures from friends and staff on their personalised leavers’ tops, kindly provided by the PTFA.

To finish off their last day, we had one final surprise. Year 6 families joined us on the playground as the whole school formed a guard of honour, giving our leavers the send-off they truly deserved. It was a lovely way for everyone to come together to celebrate their time at our school and wish them all the very best for the exciting journey ahead.

We are so proud of each and every one of them and can’t wait to see all they achieve. Good luck, Class of 2026🌟

🎉 That’s a wrap – school’s out for 2025–26! ☀️

What a fantastic year it has been. From exciting learning opportunities and memorable trips to sporting successes and special celebrations, it’s been a year full of wonderful moments.

We’d like to wish all of our children and families a happy, safe and restful summer, and a huge thank you to our amazing staff for all of their hard work this year. We hope you all enjoy a well-deserved break.

Keep an eye on our page over the summer as we’ll be sharing more highlights from the final few weeks of term.

Sports Day at Ingoldsby🏃🏆

We had a wonderful Sports Day this week✨ We are so proud of our pupils for their efforts and sportsmanship. Well done, everyone🏅🏆 A big shoutout to our amazing Mrs Bland for organising great races and making it a fun, memorable experience🏃⭐️

Twinlakes✨🎡🎢🎠

Our wonderful Year 6s thoroughly enjoyed their reward trip to Twinlakes on Monday!🤩 It was well deserved after all of their hard work this year. The log flume went down a treat in the hot weather!💦☀️
