Well done to our wonderful school for this lovely award. We are so grateful to Mrs Bland for all of the hard work she puts in to making sports enjoyable and accessible for all. Here’s just a small snippet of what our pupils say about sports at Ingoldsby:
”Mrs Bland's PE lessons are fun and I love learning new skills”
”I love the afterschool sports clubs-especially netball”
”We’ve been lucky to go to so many different sporting events this year!”

What a fantastic day EYFS and KS1 had on Wednesday at Lincoln Zoo! 🐒
We were incredibly lucky to be shown around by the wonderful Sarah, who shared so many fascinating facts about the animals and answered all of the children’s questions. She packed so much into the day, ensuring we were able to see and experience as much of the zoo as possible, including the amazing animal show, which was definitely a highlight!
The children were curious, enthusiastic, and represented our school brilliantly throughout the visit. We were so proud of their excellent behaviour and the way they engaged with all of the learning opportunities on offer.
A huge thank you to Sarah and everyone at Lincoln Zoo for making our visit so memorable! ✨

Unfortunately the Y3/4 DRET festival was cancelled due to the weather, so myself and Mrs Bland tried to recreate the day the best we could by having our own “Ingoldsby festival“. We’ve all enjoyed a game of cricket, learning ‘walking on sunshine using makaton, attempting some circus skills, having a classroom picnic, practising our gymnastics, dancing to our favourite music during our fitness dance session as well as having our face painted, enjoying a yummy ice lolly and taking home a wonderful model balloon created by one of our parents.

Yesterday we attended a Handball festival at Bringhurst Academy. We started the day doing different drills, improving our handball skills, then in the afternoon we played some matches. The children really enjoyed themselves and are looking forward to showing others the skills they learnt.

Falcons learned about the River Nile and the seasons of the Nile which are the three seasons based upon when the Nile floods annually. The children had a go at creating a River Nile in chalk on the playground before using various natural materials including water to recreate the Nile.

Years 3,4 and 5 had a busy start to the week this week by creating some wonderful dragon pieces using different art techniques. These are going towards our “Take one picture” and will be displayed in the hall shortly As part of a bigger display. I am very impressed with our budding artists. You all tried really hard with this project.
