What a wonderful first week back at nursery! 💛

It has been lovely welcoming all our children and supporting them as they settle in, transition into new rooms, make new friends and get to know their new routines and wonderful key workers. 🌈

In our baby room, we have been enjoying lots of cuddles, walks to the park, sensory play and gentle, nurturing experiences to help our little ones feel safe, secure and settled. 🥰

Across all our rooms, we have been embracing the importance of fun, consistency and familiar routines to help make those transitions as smooth and positive as possible. Our children have been busy exploring their new environments, building relationships and discovering all the exciting things their new rooms have to offer. ✨

From creative and sensory activities indoors to exciting adventures and outdoor play, there has been so much fun, laughter and learning happening throughout the nursery! 🎨🌿

A huge well done to all our little ones and amazing practitioners for such a fantastic first week back. We are so proud of how they are settling in, and we cannot wait to see what the rest of the term brings! 💕

🚨 PARENTS - IMPORTANT CHILDCARE FUNDING DEADLINE TODAY! 🚨

Today, 31st August 2026, is the application deadline for Early Years Entitlement (EYE) government-funded childcare for the Autumn Term (1st September - 31st December 2026).

⚠️ PLEASE DON’T MISS THE DEADLINE!

If you miss the Autumn Term deadline, your child may not be able to access their government-funded childcare until the start of the following term - the Spring Term (1st January - 31st March 2027).

👶 Your child may now be newly eligible if they reached one of the following ages on or before 31st August 2026:

• 9 months+ EYE - if your child became 9 months old on or before 31st August 2026.
• 2-year-old EYE - if your child became 2 years old on or before 31st August 2026.
• 3-year-old EYE - if your child became 3 years old on or before 31st August 2026.

🔄 Previously not eligible?

If you applied before and were not eligible, but your circumstances have since changed, you can make a new application for the next term.

⚠️ IMPORTANT - DON’T FORGET TO RECONFIRM YOUR CODE

EYE eligibility codes expire approximately every 3 months. When your code is due to expire, you will need to reconfirm your eligibility through your Government Gateway account.

📱📸 Technology Week at Nursery! 💻✨

What a fantastic Technology Week we have had! The children have been busy exploring lots of different ways we can use technology, having fun, being creative and learning new skills along the way. 🌟

For Photography Day, the children became photographers and made their very own cameras before using the iPads to take photographs of the things that interested them. 📷❤️

We have also been using the interactive screen to mark make, exploring different numbers and buttons on the telephones in the office, and discovering how technology helps us in everyday life. ☎️🔢

Of course, technology wouldn’t be complete without some music! 🎶 The children had lots of fun dancing and moving to their favourite songs with their friends using our speaker. 💃🕺

It has been wonderful to see the children’s curiosity, creativity and confidence grow as they explored technology in so many different ways. 🌈💡

👏 A huge thank you to CR Stoneworks 👏

We’d like to say thank you to Chris for all his hard work over the last 4-5 weeks repairing and repointing the stonework around our nursery.

Chris has been fantastic throughout the whole job. His communication, reliability, hard work and willingness to cooperate and work around our nursery hours have been greatly appreciated. He made sure the work was carried out safely and efficiently, with as little disruption as possible to the children, families and day-to-day running of the nursery.

The finished stonework looks fantastic, and we couldn’t be happier with the work! 🧱👏

Chris specialises in lime pointing, stone walling and renovation projects, including work undertaken on Grade I and Grade II listed buildings.

If you’re looking for stone wall repairs or repointing, dry stone wall construction or rebuilding, patios, or similar work, we would highly recommend Chris. His knowledge, craftsmanship and attention to detail speak for themselves.

🌿🦋 A Week Full of Little Adventures! 🦆🌸

Last week, we took the opportunity to get out and about and enjoy some lovely walks with the children! There’s so much to discover right on our doorstep, and the children had a wonderful time exploring, observing and enjoying the great outdoors. 💚

🌺 Our Preschool children enjoyed a trip to Grantham House Gardens, where they explored the beautiful surroundings, discovered lots of nature and even spotted some beautiful butterflies! 🦋 They loved looking closely at the different plants, flowers and wildlife around them.

⛲ Our Toddlers enjoyed a walk into town to see the fountains! They were fascinated watching the water and loved taking in all the sights and sounds along the way. 💦😊

🦆 Our Babies had a lovely trip to the park, where they enjoyed seeing the ducks and taking in their surroundings. It was a wonderful opportunity for them to experience nature and enjoy some fresh air. 🌳💕

We love making the most of our local community and giving the children opportunities to explore the world around them, whatever their age. 🌍✨

What a lovely week of adventures, discovery and memories! 💚🌿

Important travel information for Grantham Bike Night 🏍️ on Thursday 6th August!
Temporary road closures and parking restrictions will be in place around the town centre.

🚧 Event road closures (2pm–11pm):
• Conduit Lane (from the junction of Greyfriars)
• Grantham Market Place
• Narrow Westgate

These closures include parking and loading bays within these areas. All vehicles must be removed from these areas by 12pm on Thursday 6th August to allow for event set-up.
🅿️ Conduit Lane Car Park will also be closed from 12pm on Thursday 6th August to provide additional space for bikes attending the event.

⚠️ Please be aware that there will be other road closures and traffic restrictions in Grantham on the same day due to Lincolnshire Highways’ carriageway reconstruction and major improvement works on the Grantham Gyratory. So please plan your journey in advance and allow extra time when travelling to nursery.

🚗 Vehicle access to My Nursery car park can only be gained from Union Street (between Asda and Lidl). 🚗

Thank you so much to our wonderful team for making our Pre School Graduation such a lovely event 🧡
We are very grateful for all the time, effort and love you put in to the graduation day and every day 🫶 we appreciate all your fantastic dance moves too!

Thank you to all the parents for letting us be a part of your child's learning journey, we have loved watching each and every one of them learn and grow throughout their time with us 🎓🩵🧡
