πΌπSing and Play with The Halle Orchestra πΌπ
Our Junior children had a fantastic time performing alongside the Halle Orchestra at the Royal Concert Hall, Nottingham, in the specially designed concert for schools called Now Hear This β World Cup Fever.
The children had the wonderful opportunity to sing and play as part of a special programme which included highlights from West Side Story and Rhapsody in Blue, plus many other well known classical pieces of music πΆβ½π»
It was a truly memorable and thoroughly enjoyable musical experience, and we are incredibly proud of how enthusiastically and confidently the children took part. A wonderful day of music-making! πΌβ¨

At Grantham Prep, we provide focused and supportive preparation for both 11+ and independent school entrance examinations. π
With small class sizes, children benefit from personalised teaching, allowing staff to identify strengths, build confidence and support areas for development. Our junior children take part in regular 11+ lessons as part of the curriculum. They use Bond books, developing skills in English, Maths, verbal and non verbal reasoning, comprehension and exam technique.
We also offer a dedicated 11+ Club, giving children further opportunities to practise, refine their skills and become familiar with the style of questions they may encounter.
Our aim is not only to prepare children acadmically, but also to help them approach the exams with confidence, resilience and a positive mindset.
