At the end of the week, in collective worship, our lovely children shared what they have been thankful for this week. We heard from different children about how they were thankful for their teachers, their school, the fun learning their teachers plan, the clubs they have the opportunity to start next week and their family and friends.

I shared that I am thankful to have been trusted with the privilege of being their head teacher and for all of the kindness and support I have been offered as I have settled in - it has been a fantastic few weeks! I am also thankful to the new EYFS starter families who have trusted us with their most precious children. What an honour!

As a school we also chose to be thankful for Mrs Grimwood. A dedicated teacher who goes above and beyond for her children and school team! She always has a smile and helping hand for everyone too!

Mrs Grimwood has been busy this week developing her own exceptional teaching practice even further with the Lincoln Anglican Academy Trust and as a result she will be supporting our staff team to develop themselves even further!
Even the adults at st St Wulfram’s National C of E Primary School love to learn!

Just a reminder to our parents and carers that our parent book swap,which is in the school reception, is there for you to use! Please help yourself!

The pre-loved uniform is also free so do have a look! A lot of it is in great condition!

Thank you for the Responsibility Raffle donations from A and T Spuds and Dive Cavern Games! The children were thrilled when they saw the new additions to the table!

We have also had a big bag of books donated for our school library! Thank you so much!

Just a reminder to let the school office know if you are intetested in joining our new PTA. I will be in touch soon for an initial meeting where we will consider our mission and vision for the group.

Let's take a moment to appreciate the beauty of St Wulfram's Grantham church! What a fabulous piece of culture and history to be able to view from our school playground!

Today, in Church, we had our first collective worship of the year with Father Stuart where we focused on our school and Christian value of thankfulness.

As a school team we are thankful for our wonderful children and supportive families who have made the start of the school year positive and hopeful.

How thankful we are to learn and grow within the St. Wulfram community!

Last week in assembly all of the children who had won a Head Teacher Raffle ticket for showing super behaviour and effort in class were put into a raffle draw - above are our proud winners for this week!

We also announced our new Bronze Young Ambassadors, Phillipa and Neidas, who join Joshua and Logan in year 6 to represent the school at sporting events and experience some leadership training of their own!

We also had a visit from Louie and Nick from Grantham Town Football Club! We were really spoilt as they gave us all free family tickets to go and see the match last Saturday and Daniel and Chris won the opportunity to visit the first team in their changing rooms and collect their signatures!

Chris said, "I got to be a mascot and have a tour of the stadium. It was really inspiring and I hope to go and visit more teams if I get the opportunity. It was also nice to see some of my friends. "

Elliot enjoyed the afternoon with his family and told us how much fun he had!

Good evening everyone!

Our oldest students are officially wearing their St Wulfram’s National leavers' hoodies.

It is a wonderful milestone, but it also reminds us that their time with us is drawing to a close. We are so proud of the fantastic role models they have become. Enjoy making the most of your final few days, Year 6! 🎓💙

We are very excited for this wonderful opportunity ❤️

Next Wednesday (24th June), we’re welcoming the choirs of Gonerby Hill Foot Primary School, St Wulfram’s National C of E Primary School and The Grantham Prepatory International Independant School to sing together in a special concert with our choristers.

It will be a lovely evening, celebrating music making.
