🎺 Let the Music Play at St Wulfram’s! 🎺
A few weeks ago, we had the absolute pleasure of welcoming Lincolnshire Music Service to our school! 🎶
The wonderful Lucy joined us to showcase the incredible sounds of brass instruments. Our children were truly immersed in the music, and our Key Stage 2 pupils were even lucky enough to have a go themselves! 🎺✨
Yes, it was definitely noisy, but the smiles on their faces said it all—they loved every second. We might just have some budding musicians in the making! 🌟

🏊♀️ Making a Splash for Grantham! 🏊♂️
Some of our wonderful children from St Wulfram’s are diving into action this Sunday, 8th February, for the RotarySwimarathon2026! 🌟
Organised by the Rotary Club of Grantham, this incredible event raises vital funds for local charities, organisations, and deserving projects right here in our community. It truly makes a difference:
Impact: Last year, a record £55,000 was raised, which allowed the Rotary Club to hand out 47 grants to local causes!
Our Goal: Our St Wulfram's team is aiming to raise £200 to add to this year's total.
We are so proud of our students for taking on this challenge at the Grantham Meres Leisure Centre. Please help us reach our goal and support the amazing work done in and around Grantham.

📚 The Joy of Reading at St Wulfram’s 📚
At St Wulfram’s National, we believe reading is such an important time for our pupils. In the hustle and bustle of the school day, it’s easy to forget the simple, pure joy of just sitting down and getting lost in a good book. ❤️
It was truly lovely to see Lighthouse Class enjoying their peaceful and calming library session this week. 🧘♂️📖
Seeing the children carefully gathering their favourite books to take home was even more fantastic—there’s nothing quite like the excitement of a new story to share with family! 🏠✨
As the saying goes: "The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you'll go!" 🌍✈️
Research from the National Literacy Trust shows that reading for pleasure not only builds vital literacy skills but also supports wellbeing and confidence.
We are so proud of our young readers! 🌟

🧲 Science in Action in Lighthouse Class! 🌟
Our young scientists have been busy turning theory into pure fun this week! After diving deep into the world of magnetism, the children put their incredible knowledge to the test by designing their own magnetic games. 🎣🏎️
From tricky track mazes and fishing challenges to high-score points games, the classroom was buzzing with creativity. It was brilliant to see them demonstrate how magnetic forces act at a distance, moving paperclips through solid card like magic! 🪄
At our school, we believe it’s not just about memorising facts—it’s about applied knowledge. Seeing the children experiment with magnetic proximity and material properties proves they haven't just "learnt" the topic; they've mastered it.
So proud of our creative thinkers in Lighthouse Class! 💡✨

✨ What a wonderful day in EYFS! ✨
I’ve had the best time watching our little explorers dive into their 'All About Our World' topic. 🌍
From chatting about where they live to discovering different types of homes and the amazing jobs people do, their curiosity is endless!
The absolute highlight of my day? Watching the incredible imaginative play in our Dentist role-play area. 🦷🪥
It was brilliant listening to them talk about Grantham and seeing just how much they know about our local community. 🏰 They could even use the big maps to show me where our school and church were.
One thing is for sure: the children at St Wulfram’s are going to have the shiniest teeth in town and won't be feeling scared of the dentist any time soon! 🌟😁
To come and take a tour of our school just give the office a call or send us an email.
