We are so excited about this and cannot wait to see how much we can raise. Thank you to our fabulous PTFA for organising such a fantastic (and fun!) event. I wonder if the staff can get involved and raise some funds too?! ๐Ÿคฉ

Today Class China ๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ณ and our Year 6 Bronze Ambassadors had a wonderful day at Mini Olympics! Although the weather was not on our side, the children showed incredible resilience, patience and understanding throughout the day. They did not let the conditions dampen their spirits and continued to give every activity their full effort and enthusiasm! ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿผ

As part of the event, we were proud to represent Bangladesh. ๐Ÿ‡ง๐Ÿ‡ฉ In preparation, the children each designed their own Bangladesh flag before working collaboratively to bring the winning design to life. Carrying the flag with pride, the children represented our school brilliantly, demonstrating our values by always being their best and showing courage in abundance as they embraced new sporting challenges.

Throughout the day, the children embraced every opportunity with a positive attitude, determination and excellent sportsmanship. They supported one another, celebrated successes and persevered when things became challenging. โœจ

Each and every child was the very best version of themselves and did our school proud!๐ŸŒŸ๐Ÿ’ซ

Today, Class USA were off on another adventure! We were kindly invited to the Church School Festival at Lincoln cathedral by Lincoln Diocesan Board of Education

This was a wonderful opportunity for us to join with other schools across the diocese and reflect on the journey the children have been on during their time at primary school, while also looking ahead to their next exciting adventure! We had a very busy day with tours around the cathedral and learning about the amazing building, singing workshops, a collective worship and lots of different, hands-on activities in the learning centre!

๐ŸŒŸ PGL Adventure! ๐ŸŒŸ

On Sunday, Year 6 set off on their residential trip to PGL. Throughout their time there, they have thrown themselves into every activity and have created memories to last a lifetime! In their usual style, they have done so with so much enthusiasm, compassion and humour - we have laughed until we have cried! ๐Ÿ˜‚

They have shown our school values of wisdom, courage and respect in abundance and have worked together to overcome fears and push themselves to new heights (literally!), tackling high ropes, climbing, air rifle shooting, zip wires and raft building to name just a few! ๐Ÿง—โ€โ™‚๏ธ ๐Ÿ›ถ

The support and encouragement they have shown towards each other has, as always, been incredible. They were always there ready with words of encouragement or a helping hand for their friends!

Well done, Class USA ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ You were phenomenal ambassadors for our school and it has been a real joy and privilege to share this experience with you all, we could not be any more proud! You are AMAZING! ๐ŸŒŸ

Now, time to get some rest! ๐Ÿ˜ด๐Ÿ˜‚

Class England ๐Ÿด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ฅ๓ ฎ๓ ง๓ ฟ learnt and performed a poem linked to their learning about the life cycle of a butterfly ๐Ÿฆ‹ enjoy

Class England ๐Ÿด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ฅ๓ ฎ๓ ง๓ ฟ had a wonderful time this morning as we finally released our butterflies which weโ€™ve been watching grow from tiny caterpillars. The children have embraced using vocabulary such as โ€˜metamorphosisโ€™ and โ€˜chrysalisโ€™ to describe the life cycle of this mini beast and were so gentle as they carefully passed a butterfly around that landed on a flower we had ready. ๐Ÿ› ๐Ÿฆ‹

The children have fully embraced their learning about life cycles and have now been lucky enough to watch frogspawn become frogs in the classroom in addition to growing butterflies over the past few months. We are excited to see what Term 6 will bring!

Class England ๐Ÿด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ฅ๓ ฎ๓ ง๓ ฟ have had the most wonderful adventure today as we took our first school trip to Sacrewell Farm. The children were so well behaved and displayed their courage, wisdom and respect in abundance!

We started the day by taking a tour of the farm and acting as farmers for the morning as we fed many of the animals on the farm including, guinea pigs, enormous pigs ๐Ÿ–, sheep ๐Ÿ‘, alpacas๐Ÿฆ™, goats ๐Ÿ, ducks ๐Ÿฆ† and more. What an experience!

After lunch we put our physical skills to the test as we explored the woodland playground, played a game of โ€˜Pooh sticksโ€™, performed a poem linked to our trip and then let off some steam in the large adventure play area before returning to the coach.

Well done Reception, Iโ€™m sure you will all sleep well tonight after a busy day full of fun and learning. Parents, keep a look out for more photos which will be posted onto the Tapestry app shortly.
