Paediatric first aid qualified and awarded a Level 5 (highest) for Food Hygiene. I have three now adult children, who are occasionally here and enjoy playing with the children. I have a friendly working cocker spaniel, Harley, who is now getting on a bit at 12.5 years. We enjoy a spacious home and large drive for off street parking. We live in a quiet close (apart from school drop off/pick up time
s!) opposite Goudhurst School. We have a large, fully enclosed garden where the children can run around and play safely. I offer a safe, enriching and fun environment where children can play, learn and develop in their own way, at their own pace and I work closely with parents to ensure their children are happy and settled. My aim is to offer children a setting that is as close to their own home and routines as possible. Babies and toddlers who need a nap in the day have a quiet and peaceful space for this. I offer healthy snacks during the day and if the children are here at meal times, I provide a home cooked evening meal within my rates. I offer a huge range of toys, play dough, dressing up, puzzles, games and small play as well as opportunities for arts and crafts and baking. I follow the Early Years Foundation Stage framework which ensures children are developing and learning through play and reaching their full potential. I take the children to local toddler groups and walks in Bedgebury and National Trust properties with Harley, as well as visits to the play park, library and Children's Centres. In the school holidays we venture further afield where numbers allow it and children have enjoyed excursions to the Sea Aquarium at Brighton, Dover Castle, Camber Sands and Hastings. The school holidays also offer an opportunity to spend longer in Bedgebury and local parks and embark on bigger art and craft projects.
