Bright Sparks Forest School Bright Sparks Forest School offer training courses for adults and Forest School programmes for all.

As long time champions of Forest School’s inspirational approach to learning, and connecting to the natural world, we have made it part of our mission to spread the word through the provision of training courses for prospective Forest School leaders and by running programmes for a variety of groups from pre schools to home schools and everything in between. You'll mostly find us feeding a fire as

well as our bellies and minds deep in the woods. We are passionate about the brilliant process of Forest School and have seen first hand the ways in which it positively affects our participants and students. We love being able to play a part in connecting people with nature through free choice and play in the woods. If you would like to become a Forest School leader or would like us to run a Forest School programme for you, please get in touch, we would love to hear from you.

Yesterday we hosted a free drop in Forest School style event at Rusthall Common on behalf of the Friends group 🌳

Over two sessions we saw almost 200 people, all very happy to be trying out looks of different Forest School activities! 😃

We made smores, tried fire lighting, made wood disk necklaces, whittled wands and created leaf print art - just to name a few! 🍃

We had such a great day running this event, fingers crossed for more sessions in the future ☀️

Our Level 2 Forest School course starts next month at .pinetum 🌟

As champions of Forest School’s inspirational approach to learning and connecting to the natural world, we have made it part of our mission to spread the word. We aim to raise awareness through the provision of training for prospective Forest School leaders in the nationally accredited Ofqual RQF qualifications, endorsed by the Forest School Association. 🌳

Our training is offered one day a week for a number of weeks rather than in an intensive block. Our students have told us they love this approach as it allows them to take on board all the new elements they learn each week. It is also completely outdoors and practical, with no online workshops. 🏕️

We provide all learning materials required including templates for Risk Assessment, Ecological Impact Assessment, site management plans and session planning. We also provide an extensive course handbook that covers most aspects of the taught elements of the course. 📚
