Day 1 is well underway, meeting Miss Payne and Mrs Joynson in assembly.
Children have spent time with their new tutors and making new friends.

Here is everything you need to know for day one:

- Year 7: Your exciting first day begins at 8:35 AM for an 8:40 AM start with your tutors.
- Year 11: Join us at first break for an 11:40 AM start with your tutors.
- All Other Year Groups: Arrive Thursday morning for an 8:40 AM start in your Tutor base.

Uniform Check: A quick reminder that we’re back in full uniform - don't forget your ties, blazers, and black polishable shoes!

Reminder: Phone-Free School Starting September 2026

In line with new national legislation, we will operate a phone-free school day starting this September to support student wellbeing and create a focused learning environment.

Daily Collection: Phones brought to school must be handed in during tutor time to be locked away until the end of the day. Late arrivals hand devices in at Reception.

Alternative Options: Families can choose to leave phones at home entirely. Medical exemptions are available for essential health needs (e.g., diabetes management).

🎈 WHAT A RESULTS DAY! 🎈

The atmosphere was absolutely wonderful this morning as our Year 11s collected their envelopes! From nervous anticipation to tears of joy, huge smiles, and giant group hugs—today was an unforgettable celebration of hard work and incredible success! 🥳✨

We are beyond proud to announce that King’s Academy Brune Park has officially secured the best GCSE outcomes in the school's history!

This monumental milestone reflects the hard work, resilience, and determination of our students, alongside the unwavering support of our brilliant staff, parents, and carers. You have truly embodied our core values of honesty, faith, and courage.

🏆 Key Subject & School Highlights:

- English & Maths: 54.5% of pupils achieved a grade 4+ in both subjects (a massive ~17% increase from last year!). Pass rates hit 68.6% in English (up 19%) and 61.2% in Maths (up 15.4%).
- Sciences: A phenomenal 100% of pupils achieved a grade 4 or above in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics!
- Expressive Arts & Languages: 100% achieved a Level 2 Distinction* in Dance, 77% achieved 4+ in Drama, and 75% achieved 4+ in both French and Spanish.

📢 GCSE Results Day 2026 Reminder!

As we count down to tomorrow, here is a reminder of what you need to know about collecting your exam results:

📍 Location: The Atrium in Blue Block (Enter & exit via Brockhurst Gate)

⏰ Collection Time: 09:30 – 11:00

Can't collect in person? You have two options:

Nominate someone: Provide a signed letter naming your collector. They must bring this letter + their own photo ID during collection hours.

Email request: Send an email from your student account to [email protected] requesting your results via email (these will be sent out after physical collection closes).

Note: Uncollected results will be posted via First Class Royal Mail on 1st September to your registered address in Arbor.
