The Once Upon a Gosport gang are joining forces with Gosport Heritage Open Days... 11th-20th September

Families are invited to meet colourful characters from Gosport’s history at Gosport Heritage Open Days. You can meet the puppets and enjoy storytelling, colouring, and hands-on creative activities. 🥰

When the puppets met Mayor Cllr Kirsten Bradley...

What a great time the Once Upon A Gosport gang had meeting the Mayor of Gosport some weeks ago. 🥰

And a mayor being such an important role in Gosport's history and future, we decided to build a Mayor character into our next book.

Thanks for the visit, the gang loved their day out. 🤩

The puppets have found a new place to be... The Book Shop have temporarily adopted the gang and will not only be a place to pick up and drop off for local educators but will also be running some activities for children. ✨✨✨

Introducing our newest characters....

Princess Anne the Hovercraft and Jessie the Rat (named after Jessie Mario White)

This magical tale is about dreaming of a life outside of rat island, but being shown there is so much right here at home in Gosport.

We also see a feature in this new book for Nat Gonella, the Mayor of Gosport, Dr James Lind and more!!!! Our puppets and book are in production! Big shout out to Rich Oakes Art for his fab work and for their puppet mastery.
