Competent Crew vs Day Skipper - Which course is the course for you?

If you're new to sailing, getting to grips with the parts of the boat and wanting to learn to be a useful crew member onboard then the RYA Competent Crew is perfect for you. Learn skills such as rope handling, steering the yacht and what to do in an emergency ⛵

However, if you feel you are ready for the next challenge the Day Skipper may be better suited to you. Learn to take charge of the vessel safely and understand the principles behind the decisions made whilst onboard. Create passage plans, deliver safety briefs and manoeuvre the boat 🌊
