2nd chest workout since my return from injury. Taking it at pace but pleased with my returning progress. I'll keep chipping away session by session.
After a few months out (due to injury) back in the gym working it hard. End of he session I was having to dig deep. Happy with today 🙏🫡
I do this as I love it, the spot the gym and my PT make it all worth it.
Post injury, diet on point and feeling hungry for next year.
Sometimes family gets in the way, but that's ok. Shut the door and walk away, best therapy ever 😉💪
This week hasn't been the best week, been doing extra hours at work mainly due to illness and being a father of 3 kids. It's demanding so excuses aside next week I'll be resetting and hitting it hard every week.

After a bot of time out with a back injury I'm back in training again.
Front squats from the rack, dropping quicker and final push is powerful. 80 percent work only so working at 85kg at max and working myself up over next few weeks to avoid any unavoidable niggles.
Warmups are also longer paying more attention to mobility, which is the reason I got the injury. Lots of hip mobility and just spending more time focusing on form before I lift.

I have been a bit quiet as I have been recovering from a sustained injury. Very frustrating as felt like I was starting to get somewhere. These things happen but it is still very tough to mentally ride through especially when you have worked so hard then feel as though the progress is slipping. After a head wobble and a bit of self motivation I'm ready to get up, dust my shoulders and get back in the gym again. One more week of recovery then back at it. Competitions have been put on hold for this year to build on strength and develop but back at it next year with a goal to get a podium finish.
