Wee Care Childminding

I am an Ofsted registered Childminder and achieved a 'Good' in my recent inspection (You can view my report at http://www.ofsted.gov.uk/inspection-reports/find-inspection-report/provider/CARE/EY460110). I was originally registered in October 2005 until we moved to Gibraltar in May 2009 with my husband’s work, but now he has changed jobs and we have settled back into the UK permanently; so re-registered in May 2013. I have public liability insurance through Pacey (Professional association for childcare and early years). I have completed the initial childminding training which is required as part of the registration process and am currently working towards my level 3 diploma in Children and Young People's Workforce. I live with my husband Steve and our four children; Kayla (18), Shaynie (15), Flynn (10) and Jude (8). We also have a dog called Daisy, a cat called Lexie and three chickens called Agnes, Bridget and Ethel. I have lived in Gosport most of my life and I know the area well. I love where I stay and feel lucky to be able to bring up my children in such a lovely area. Steve is an Operations Control Engineer for a company in Reading, Kayla is currently studying at university in Wales, Shaynie is in year 11 at Brune Park Community School and my sons are both at St John’s CE Primary School in years 6 and 4. I enjoy working with children and accepting them into my home, I aim to make them feel part of the family. As a small childcare provider I am able to offer a more home-like environment, with the opportunity to share and learn with other children in my setting. I am able to be flexible and work around your requirements. As a childminder I am able to offer continuity of care, and can continue to provide childcare even when your child starts school/nursery.
