Hello lovely learners (and their parents). We have a constant flow of requests for tutors and instrument teachers in and across Hampshire.
I am trying to grow our tutor bank so if anyone is a musician, even if a bit rusty, or a qualified teacher (primary or secondary) please get in touch, or link in someone else. You could be earning £25 an hour by next week.
Thank you and enjoy the hols.

I couldn't let this week go by without a mention to all our dyslexic pupils. I have great admiration for you all, the challenges are often immense yet you are truly talented people with artistic and creative talents along with being amazing thinkers. After reading this article about the famous dyslexic Richard Branson I continue to hope you can take advantage of your skills and talents and thrive into the wonderful individuals you are made to be. HHL is here to help in anyway we can.

Richard Branson | Being Dyslexic When Richard Branson's granny was 99, she wrote him to say that the last 10 years had been her best. He should read the book, "A Brief History of Time" by Stephen Hawking. She had loved it. But most of all, her advice to Richard was "You've got one go in life, so make the most of it." Are you concerned about your child's progress in school? Does your child lack confidence? Our tutors are experts at helping your little (and not so little) ones navigate through the pressures of school life. Get in touch with me if we can help with some support for your child. Tutors are waiting across all of Hampshire to meet you.
As the term comes to an end and I reflect over an amazing year of tutoring across the Hampshire Home Learning region, I have to exclaim at what fantastic progress everyone has made. It's been a joy to teach so many lovely pupils (and I know other HHL tutors agree) and watching them mature and grow in confidence always amazes me. Well done all of you and their families. And a special good luck to all going up to Secondary this year. I look forward to Summer School and indeed book in now for September as the slots are filling up already! Have a great summer and keep reading!!!
Are you a teacher looking for some extra work?
Do you have an occasional evening where you could offer tutoring to a local family?
Hampshire Home Learning are looking for primary and secondary teachers across the county who would like to work one to one and earn some extra cash in the evenings (or occasional home school, daytime work.)
This opportunity is also open to ex-teachers who don’t want to waste all their training and enter a freer, stress free way of working doing what we all love.
For a small referral fee you can enjoy the rewards us teachers go into the profession to experience.
Easy to sign up and as much or little work as you would like; Tutoring fits in with family life as you can tutor whilst your own family are off at evening clubs such as guides and scouts or sporting activities.
If this rings a bell with you, get in touch with Anne Ross at Hampshirehomelearning.com or through FB chat.

Looking for something to entertain the kiddies in those in-between times this summer? How about this latest offer from Usborne.
Easter School has been a great success so far this week. Thank you to all the lovely families who have enjoyed the booster sessions. Enjoy the sun!
Hi guys, I regularly have requests for Tutoring and not enough teachers to cover the slots. Please ask any tutor/teacher friends who'd like to earn £25 an hour of an evening to get in touch. As little or much work as suits you. Very low one off commission on placement not like the regular payments per lesson that other agencies require. Please share.
I am running a Handwriting Course for year 2 upwards in the second week of the Easter Holidays (13th to 17th of April 2015) for anyone who is concerned about their child's mastering of cursive writing.
The course aims to help children to master the skills of cursive, joined up writing through a creative, fun, pressure free, kinesthetic (movement based) method devised from research and tried and tested methods into this area by myself.
It runs for an hour each morning 10:15-11:15, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday, Wednesday is a little later 11.15 to 12.15. At St. Francis Church Hall, Clayhall Road, Gosport, Hampshire PO12 2AJ.
The cost for the week is £50 for 5, 1 hour sessions with all resources included in the price. Only 6 places available so please feel free to get in touch if you think this is something you would like your child to benefit from.
