A R13 Clarinet came in for service and I found these damages. I think someone tried to adjust the key with a wrong tool and caused the damages. It won’t affect me adjusting the the key much, but it will cause the owner more when whom decides to have the clarinet for overhaul and replating or selling the clarinet.

It has been long time didn’t post any repair work, sadly this is not a good one come across on my bench.
Can you see between these two photos?
This Clarinet suffered from poor service from the previous repairer. These photos only showed you one of the problems I found.
Can you see the difference?
The top photo has new springs with the correct pointy ends to slot on the spring catcher. The bottom photo is incorrect spring installation, also, should not have kink on a spring, should always a curved.
