Hi Everyone, Royalist has finished this week back in Aberdeen after a very hectic month or so with Tall Ships Races.
I am sure many of you have been following our social media with stacks of videos and photos of our adventures over the last month or so. The picture above is of the various trophies, race pennant etc from the various ports visited during the races.
It has been an extremely successful time, the cadets that have been onboard Royalist have worked hard, they form lifelong friendships with their colleagues and with crews from other international vessels. Everywhere they have been their fun and friendliness has been loved and greatly received by everybody.
9 cadets were lucky enough to get an opportunity to Sail on the Portuguese Ship β€œ Caravella Vera Cruz”. This a partnership that has proved the value of how Sail training brings people together from all over the world. I very much hope that we can continue this in future years.
The Royalist crew and I have been honoured and proud to have been involved and extremely proud of how our youngsters represented the Sea Cadets on an International stage.
We would all like to Thank everyone who has supported this and all those that has made this possible.
We now continue our exciting program back around the UK. We look forward to the next group of cadets joining the ship as continue our adventures.

What a fantastic week afloat for our Sea Cadets aboard J31! βš“

Our voyage took us from Inverness to Aberdeen, with stopovers in Wick, Buckie and Peterhead. Along the way, the cadets enjoyed some incredible wildlife spotting, including dolphins (and maybe even a penguin! πŸ€”πŸ§), plus a very friendly harbour seal who came to say hello.

With great weather, plenty of laughs, and unforgettable experiences, it was a week full of adventure, teamwork and memories that will last a lifetime.

Well done to all our cadets and volunteers who made it such a brilliant trip! πŸ’™βš“
