The friends of Bay house are hoping to make plans for the future and get back together as soon as we can.
We would like to continue to offer our support to the school in any way we can and we are now beginning to make plans for a return.

Here are some of the items bought for the students from the proceeds of all our fund raising for the year 2019/20

1. Model united nations support for weekly club and to enable students to attend a national conference in London and represent Bay House School - £300

2. Netball posts to replace broken - £200

3. Wood turning lathe chuck - £175

4. New table tennis table - £250

5. Cookery club for improving catering skills - £300

6. Stimming toys for special needs - £50

7. Costumes for drama - £100

8. 3D Printer for students to learn CAD software - £155.98

9. A new safeguarding display to raise awareness - £100

10 . Books and craft materials to support pupils who have suffered a bereavement - £150

11. New LED Lighting for music dept - £250

12. Geography - 5 x mini vane thermo anemometer - £71.99

13. Materials to create a seating area in the library

This is what all the cups of tea and snacks bought at parents evenings pay for plus all the profit from the QUIZ nights

Hi everyone ,apologies but the profit for the quiz night is actually £1061.88 after all the food and expenses are taken off . The figure I posted on Saturday is the ticket money takings , sorry for any confusion it is still a brilliant outcome for the school and I will publish the list of items that will be bought for the various departments when the money is allocated later in the year.

Thanks everyone who came to the Quiz night we made an amazing £1317.50 profit for the school 🤩🥳😊

We will be holding the Annual general Meeting on September the 18th at 7pm in the meeting room at school ALL PARENTS INVITED , there are positions vacant such as Vice Chair and we will be discussing the plans for the coming school year. We very much welcome new members to help keep The Friends of Bay house Alive and kicking !!😁

The Greatest Showman has had to be Postponed due to low ticket sales. BUT Never Fear a new show is planned for autumn 😀
