Merritime Nursery, are looking for an Early Years Educator to join our team. We are 60 place nursery based in HMS Sultan Gosport, and we are currently working towards achieving our Curiosity Approach Accreditation award.
As a setting we are working towards reigniting a child's natural curiosity to explore the world through hands-on, open-ended play led by the child, ensuring they have fun, with lots of exploration. We have already created a calm, home-like environment and empowers children to be active "thinkers and doers" rather than passive learners.
The ideal candidate must demonstrate that they have a good knowledge of the EYFS and a passion for childcare and development, being able to use their own initiative to ensure that the children’s individual needs are met.
The candidate should also be flexible, reliable and committed and be a good team player having good communication.
Applicants must hold a level 3 qualification or above in childcare.

This posts are ideally for 32/40hrs per week but we can be flexible with hours for the right candidate.
