Today marks the beginning of exciting new opportunities. ✨

Our students are moving on to a wide range of destinations, including sixth form, college courses, apprenticeships and employment, each building towards their future ambitions.

We're delighted that many students will also be continuing their journey with us this September, progressing into sixth form and taking the next step towards university, apprenticeships and future careers.🎓

🎓 GCSE Results Day 2026 at Gosforth Academy 🎓

A huge congratulations to our Class of 2026 as they collected their GCSE results today and celebrated the rewards of years of hard work, commitment and determination.

We are incredibly proud of everything this year group has achieved, both academically and personally. Their results reflect not only their success in the classroom, but also the resilience, ambition and character they have shown throughout their time at Gosforth Academy.

⭐ 84% achieved a Grade 4+ in English
⭐ 83% achieved a Grade 4+ in Maths
⭐ 84% achieved a Grade 4+ in two Sciences
⭐ Over a third of grades were at Grade 7+
⭐ 63% achieved a Grade 5+ in English and Maths

Principal Preit Chahal said: "Every student has their own story and their own successes to celebrate, and it has been wonderful to share those moments with them this morning."
