To our Class of 2025–26 💛
Today is a very special day, and we want to wish every one of our Year 11 students the very best of luck as you receive your GCSE results.
It has been an absolute pleasure getting to know each and every one of you. We’ve watched you grow in confidence, work incredibly hard, overcome challenges and, importantly, become wonderful young people ready for whatever comes next.
One of the things we value most at The Florence is knowing our students as individuals. Behind every set of results is a young person we have taught, encouraged, laughed with and genuinely cared about and today, we are enormously and HUGELY proud of you all.
Please let us know how you get on. We'd love to hear from you, and remember, our door is always open. Come back and visit us, tell us what you’re doing next and keep in touch.

🍫 Learning should be engaging, practical and fun!

Recently, our Year 7 and Year 8 students became packaging designers as they took on our Chocolate Box Design Challenge.

Using construction, compasses, area and volume, students worked through a real-world design brief to create the most effective chocolate box possible. Not only did they develop valuable mathematical skills, but they also discovered how maths is used in everyday design and engineering. It was a challenge that certainly went down a treat! 🍫

At The Florence, every one of our Year 10 students has received a personalised summer learning pack, designed to provide structure throughout the holidays while still allowing the flexibility to work at their own pace.

Each pack has been carefully tailored to the individual student, helping them revisit key topics and build confidence. We can’t wait to hear how everyone gets on!✨✏️

🎉 Woohoo! GCSE are finally over! 🎉
To every student who walked through our doors this year: well done. The early mornings, the revision sessions, the practice papers, the moments of frustration and the moments when everything finally clicked.
Now it's time to take a well-deserved break, make memories, and enjoy being 16.
Success in exams is never built in a few weeks. It comes from consistent effort, good habits, expert guidance and the confidence to keep going when things get tough. We couldn't be prouder of what our students have achieved.
For those looking ahead to September, Year 6 to Year 11 places are now being allocated.
For now though... put the revision guides away and celebrate. You've earned it. 🎓✨
