Our student Gardening Club planted these beds, one with a courgette and the other with a pumpkin plant, which a parent donated to us as a young plant. We're pleased to report that the plants are growing well, including the pumpkin plant - fingers crossed it keeps growing at the same rate as we hope to have a home-grown pumpkin for Halloween! πŸŽƒ

The gardening fairy will be in watering the plants over the summer. Also, a Forest School student, Ellie in Year 5, made the 'Look' sign to remind us to pay attention to the plants! Don't worry Ellie, the plants we will well looked after over the summer.

πŸ“ΈπŸ’› More Memories from Yellow Week! πŸ’›πŸ“Έ

Our students had a fantastic time exploring the Quayside, taking in some of the area's most iconic sights and learning about the fascinating history behind some of Newcastle's oldest buildings. πŸ›οΈβœ¨ They also followed some of St Oswald's Peter Rabbit trail and enjoyed spotting the painted sculptures.

The day was rounded off perfectly with a delicious meal out, giving everyone the chance to relax, socialise, and reflect on their adventures together. 🍽️😊

Take a look at some more highlights from a wonderful day of discovery, learning, and fun! πŸ’›

Final French Trip Update

Said goodbye to the lovely staff at our hotel in France this morning.
They have looked after us so well (more surprise snails for dinner last night 🐌) . Just nipped through the tunnel and en route to Newcastle! We've had a brilliant week: so many memories made and lots of French learnt. Everybody is really looking forward to seeing their families again ❀️
