Just a wee reminder that's it the Westkirk Dance Festival tomorrow morning at the village Hall. Could we kindly request that the hall car park is left free for our Westruther and Channelkirk school parents and carers and the lay-by to the front of the hall left clear for the coach transporting the Channelkirk children. 📊 Family Learning Survey – Earlston Cluster

A huge thank-you to the 183 families who shared their views in our recent Family Learning Survey. Your feedback gives us clear direction on what matters most to you and how we can shape meaningful learning opportunities across the cluster.

The top areas of interest were:
• How Children Learn in School
• Use of Technology
• Anxiety in Children and Young People

In response, we’ll be focusing our upcoming Family Learning opportunities on these priority themes. Schools will also create chances to connect with parents and carers about their own approaches to learning, while digital and wellbeing sessions will be available online for all families.

We look forward to working together to support learning at home and in school.

Early Learning and Childcare and School Enrolment Week
Notice for parents of children who will be 3 years of age between 1 March 2026 and 28 Feb 2027

This is an information session open to parents of all schools in the Earlston Cluster, including us!

Following feedback from the Earlston Cluster Family Learning Questionnaire, parents and carers are to a virtual information session lead by Paul Graham (Inspire Development Officer) focused on helping children and young people stay safe in a digital world.
