Like many other settings in our area, today we mourn the loss of the one and only Dolly Parton.

In 1995 she launched the "Imagination library", A non profit foundation that has gifted over 300 million books to children in early years, strengthening family reading on a global scale. We know that many of our past and current students and their families have benefited from this amazing gift, and we will always be grateful that such an icon was so invested in making reading and learning such a good experience for many.

Some of the team attended Goole Amateur Operatic and Dramatic Society Juniors performance of Elf the Musical. Watching the effort put in by these youths and the time all the adults supporting them put in is always awe inspiring, and for another year running they knocked it out the park.

What makes it extra special is getting to see so many of our past Rainbow pre-school students giving their all, and this year was no exception.

Well Done guys. We can't wait to see what you bring to our little town next year 🤩

At Rainbow it's really important to us that children are able to rest, relax and process their sessions in a quiet calm manner when needed. Throughout the day we offer the opportunity for this to happen in quiet areas of our rooms. Offering safe bed mats and a variety of comfort objects should they be needed. We follow the Governments guidelines to safer sleeping and ensure children are monitored throughout.

Some of our younger Raindrops, especially the babies usually take a sleep, whilst some of our older Rainbows enjoy a quiet cuddle, or a book. This gives their brains and bodies chance to relax and process.
