We would like to say a huge Thankyou to Amber Jones from co op funeral directors. She came to visit with some amazing road safety colouring sheets, as well as a donation of glow in the dark, high visibilty arm bands and key rings for all our children. We love being part of an amazing community looking out for our childrens safety. Some of the childrens art work can be seen in their window if you pop on by.

What a lovely day we have had. Today was Mental heath for children day. We wore yellow to show our support and looked at ways we could help others, show our care and spread a little cheer. With that in mind we headed off into town loaded with some little treats to hand out or leave as a surprise. We popped into and looked at some local shops, Visited the library, the police station and even met a police officer. We were lucky to meet a dog that had just haf a shower and chat to the work men working hard in town. It was so nice to hear we have made lots of people smile today :)

Like many other settings in our area, today we mourn the loss of the one and only Dolly Parton.

In 1995 she launched the "Imagination library", A non profit foundation that has gifted over 300 million books to children in early years, strengthening family reading on a global scale. We know that many of our past and current students and their families have benefited from this amazing gift, and we will always be grateful that such an icon was so invested in making reading and learning such a good experience for many.

"MY DREAM HAS ALWAYS BEEN TO HELP CHILDREN LOVE BOOKS AND LOVE LEARNING NO MATTER WHERE THEY LIVE" - Dolly Parton ❤️

As educators we believe you did that and more.

🌟🌟Good luck to our past students collecting their results today. We hope they are what you've hoped and worked for. But also remember a score on a piece of paper does not define you 🌟🌟
