We kindly ask for our Daisychain families, friends and wider community to get behind this fundraiser. We are holding a raffle at Nursey it is £2 a strip or 3 strips for a £5 each raffle ticket, donation and share will help us support this lovely little girl and her family during what we hope will be a brighter journey ahead. 🌈💕
A huge thank you to FC Howdens for donating money to purchase the Jellycat and Robson Usher for donating the special book alongside the Jellycat in helping make this possible. We are so grateful for your kindness and generosity.
Phoebe, is just two years old, yet she has already faced more than most people will in a lifetime.
Phoebe was born with Shwachman-Diamond Syndrome (SDS), a rare genetic condition that causes bone marrow failure and leaves her unable to fight infections like other children. After countless hospital admissions, blood transfusions, medications and procedures, she underwent a lifesaving stem cell transplant in June 2026.
Phoebe is now battling a serious adenovirus infection while her new immune system is still developing. Although she is receiving treatment, the virus has been incredibly difficult to control.
There are treatments available that could give Phoebe the best possible chance of overcoming this infection, including virus-specific T-cell therapy and BCV (brincidofovir). These treatments are not always routinely available, and in some cases families may need to access them privately or overseas at enormous cost.
Every donation, no matter how small, will go towards:
* Accessing advanced treatments such as virus-specific T-cell therapy or BCV if needed.
* Travel and accommodation if treatment is only available outside the UK.
* Medical costs that are not covered through routine NHS care.
* Supporting Phoebe throughout her recovery.
