This week in the toddler room we have been enjoying the last week before Christmas! We have enjoyed celebrating with some Christmas crafts and themed tuff trays. We have made our own reindeer using hand prints, Christmas trees with pinecones, polystyrene stars with lots of sparkles and other fun crafts. We have explored a polar express tuff tray and felt the different textures of materials.
We are excited for our Christmas performance at the church on Monday as we have been working very hard with Mrs Hood to perfect our voices! And what better way to spend our last full week than to share a Christmas dinner with some music and party hats!

As the excitement for Santa's arrival is building up by each passing day our preschoolers keep busy with various activities such as making our own penguins crafts, pottery painting, candy cane making, painting and drawing fabulous Christmas pictures, face painting and Christmas tattoos proved to be very popular. We enjoyed winter themed tuff trays, spoke of what Christmas means to us in Santa's Groto after we listened to a lovely Nativity story. We enjoyed a yummy Christmas dinner on Tuesday and persevered in practicing our carol repertoire for the church next week. It has been another week full of excitement, joy and learning
We wish you a Merry Christmas! 🎄

This week in the baby room we have been learning all about nature! We began our week exploring an autumnal tree made from oats. Then on Tuesday we mixed, tipped and poured the different textures in the Stickman tough tray. On Wednesday, we went for a lovely nature walk. We wrapped up warm and went for a stroll around the village, looking for all kinds of different leaves and trees. Finally we ended our week with discovering animal footprints in the snow.
Next week ...... Let’s get ready for Christmas!!!!
