According to our latest RSAcademics Parent Survey, 94% of parents would recommend Aldro, while 91% said the school has met or exceeded their expectations.

We'd like to think it's about more than just the coffee, pastries and bacon butties on Saturday mornings! Above all, it's about creating a school where children are happy, supported and inspired every day.

As our latest ISI inspection recognised, Aldro enables pupils to "flourish academically, creatively, physically and personally" – and we couldn't be prouder of the community we've built together.

Since welcoming girls in 2021, our school community has gone from strength to strength.

With the dedicated support of our Head of Girls and Head of Girls' Sport, girls are an integral part of every aspect of life at Aldro.

Whether on the sports field, on stage, in the classroom or through the many opportunities beyond the curriculum, our pupils are encouraged to discover their passions, build confidence and achieve their personal best. We're proud to celebrate the many successes our girls have already enjoyed in sport, drama and beyond.

Co-education has enriched our community, creating an environment where every child can flourish.

As a boarding school, there's always a warm welcome and plenty happening before and after the school day. Children can join us from 7.30am for breakfast, are welcomed into school from 8am, and can stay until 6pm, with a waiting club followed by supper club until 6.30pm, if needed.

Beyond the school day, our extensive programme of clubs and enrichment activities – described as a 'significant strength' of the school – means children are engaged, active and having fun, whether they're discovering a new hobby, developing a talent or simply spending time with friends.

It's all part of creating a school that works for busy families, while giving every child the opportunity to thrive.

That's our highest scholarship success rate in at least 15 years, reflecting the breadth of talent nurtured at Aldro.

This year also saw our highest number of Drama scholarships ever awarded, alongside scholarships across a wide range of disciplines, including sport and other specialist areas. It's a wonderful reflection of our commitment to helping every child discover and develop their individual strengths.

We're incredibly proud of all our pupils and the many different paths they take as they move on to senior school.

Since last September, our older pupils have swapped Saturday morning lessons for sports fixtures. Matches have become a wonderful social occasion for families, with parents enjoying coffee, pastries and bacon butties while cheering from the sidelines.

For our boarders, weekends are more exciting than ever. Saturday afternoons and Sundays are packed with activities and adventures, from trips into London to explore world-class museums, theatres, landmarks and seasonal attractions, to visits to theme parks, sporting events, outdoor activity centres, the seaside, cinemas, bowling and much more.

It's all part of making weekends at Aldro active, memorable and full of opportunity.

This year saw the exciting launch of the Aldro Sports Pathway - a new initiative designed to help pupils with outstanding sporting potential thrive both at Aldro and beyond.

Led by our Director of Sports Development and High-Performance Coach, Mr Brett Taylor, the programme provides bespoke coaching, works closely with external clubs and senior schools, and offers elite masterclasses to help pupils prepare for representative fixtures, sports scholarships and future success.

Already, the impact has been clear, with 13 pupils selected to represent Surrey Cricket, Surrey Hockey, Hampshire Cricket and Lions Football. Pupils have also benefited from exclusive experiences including a High-Performance Masterclass at Charterhouse, with more elite opportunities to come.

A huge thank you to Mr Taylor for launching this fantastic initiative and for inspiring the next generation of Aldro athletes to reach their full potential.
