The Surrey Dance Academy offers both the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance (ISTD) and British Ballet Organization (BBO) syllabus to students of all ages. At present, training is offered in traditional dance styles including Ballet, Tap, Modern and Classical Greek. Whilst also offering more contemporary dance education in Jazz, DDMix and Fitness and Stretching

HALF TERM CHALLENGES! 💃🧁
Hello everyone! We have got some fun challenges for this week of half term set for you all!
1. DANCE PHOTO 📷
We want you to be as experimental as possible, showing off your best dance moves in a still photo! Think about costume, lighting, surroundings to make it as unique as possible! Can't wait to see all of your creative ideas! 🥰
2. BAKE OFF 🎂
Cakes, biscuits, cupcakes... anything scrummy that you love to bake, we want to see it! Before and after shots, videos, anything that you want to send over to show off those fabulous baking skills and of course the fantastic end result!

Hello everyone! We are in our 3rd week of Zoom lessons and got some exciting things coming up for you all to keep lockdown boredom away!
Firstly... introducing Dancers of the Week!
SDA teachers will pick a junior and a senior student across our 6 genres of dance; Modern, Tap, Ballet, Contemporary, Jazz/Stretching and Acro.
Juniors- 11 and under
Seniors- 12 and above
The winners will be chosen using one or more of these skills; improvement, attitude, ability and work ethic.
We will announce the winners across our Insta and Fb pages every Sunday so keep your eyes peeled! Also look out for other challenges coming in the week!

Established in 2012, Surrey Dance Academy is a small people-focused dance school offering the highest quality training in ballet, pointe, tap, modern, jazz, fitness and stretching, and musical theatre from Baby/Pre-Primary level through to Advanced 2 Vocational. So whether you are a beginner, keen to improve, or looking to gain entry to dance colleges we have classes to suit you.
With classes for all ages, ranging from 2 years old to adult, SDA pride themselves on their dedication to its students – inspiring each pupil whilst challenging them to achieve their full potential and encouraging development in a fun and friendly manner. As well as creating a fun, friendly and safe atmosphere – Surrey Dance Academy offers Graded ISTD and RAD Dance examinations in all disciplines to those aged between 5 - 13 years old; these provide goals to work towards with certificates of achievement to reinforce their dedication and hard work.
Vocational ISTD and RAD examinations are offered to those students 13 years and above, also generate UCAS points – the scoring system for university applications. Therefore, an excellent opportunity to demonstrate a student’s participation in extra-curricular activity.
Classes are currently held throughout Surrey, in Godalming, Puttenham and Guildford. Please see our timetable for more information.
