2 leaks, flooded garage, everything soaked
Pretty proud of my work
However skilled work by an unskilled person comes with it’s risk
1. Mistaking a central heating pipe for a cold water feed
2. Not checking the pipe connections were secure
We have a brand new working shower and the garage and it’s contents are drying out nicely [thanks to a dehumidifier and a fan heater].
Don’t run the risk with your fitness regime
You might regret it
A little professional help here and there, goes a long way
Now offering small 3 session packages to help avoid injuries and costly training mistakes!

I love a new peice of equipment! Here's Luke trying out the new GHD attachement with some slow eccentric GHD's, great for building a strong posterior chain.

Luke's working hard to be the fittest abnd strongest in his group when they attempt to climb Mont Blanc next month.

You don't have to be scaling mountains to require personal training, in fact 90% of my clients are getting stronger with me to build muscle and continue living the life they live now for another 20 years.

🎙️Back on the radio with the wonderful on

Last time I was on, almost 3 years ago (!!!! eek where has that time gone 🫣), Bro-ga was in it’s infancy and I had just moved my PT gym to

I was back in the studio to fill Nell in with all that’s been happening since!

(Spoiler alert, it's going really well!)

We discussed how Bro-ga’s boomed and how we’re changing things in the background to make it easier to expand even further.

How I have a happy work life balance and a full PT diary 5 mornings a week.

I was also asked if I had to give a 30 min Ted talk on a subject outside of work what would it be on [you won’t guess what I said]

My fav meal

3 of my all time fav songs

And how to stay consistent with training and exercise when every day seems to throw a spanner in the works!

Here’s the recording 👇

When we flip our thoughts, it can highlight things we didn't notice. Like how many habits we're doing that are actually detrimental to our health.

I've had the talented Ben Kelly train his clients in my studio gym at Clock Barn Studio but sadly Ben is moving on.

If you're a local PT who is looking for a studio to rent please give me a shout.

The studio is in a stunning private location overlooking beautiful countryside.

It's perfect for 1-2-1 and small group training throughout the year.

We have pretty much all the equuipment you need for functional training.

It'll be available 12 noon onwards Mon-Fri and all day at the weekends from September onwards.

PM me if interested.

3-1 Thank me later

I personally like a wee bet now and then, the larger the odds the better - I’m a dreamer!

Instead of money we all too often gamble with our health.

Ignore symptoms, make poor choices, let everything else come before us…

We run the gauntlet and feel lucky if we come out in okay nick.

But health doesn’t need to rely on luck.

It doesn’t even need a complete overhaul either.

One or two easy habits that stick, that’s all.

A catalyst.

Stop Making Excuses.

Pick ONE thing that’s > healthy, easy and you don’t mind doing.

I’m pretty confident I’m right when I say this…

Every one of us wants to keep doing the things we love for as long as possible.

Playing football.
Walking the dog.
Gardening.
Golf.
Running around with the grandkids.
Whatever it is.

The problem is, we’re all getting a little weaker and a little less fit every year.

If we don’t do something about it, our bodies will eventually decide for us when we have to stop.

That’s why, however much you hate the gym, it’s worth embracing.

Not because you need six-pack abs or bigger biceps.

Because a couple of hours a week in the gym can buy you years of doing the things you love.

To me, that’s one of the best investments you’ll ever make.

They charged me £600 for a £325 product and won’t refund me the difference.

So I built a new website from scratch using Claude and found a free hosting site all in the space of a week.

A lot of people accept a situation whether that’s feeling out of shape, low on energy or generally unfit.

They play the role of victim.

But rarely does anything change and they pay the price not from their pocket [like me] but their energy and what they get from life.

If I can build a website from scratch in a couple of hours without knowing how to - anyone can book a PT session or book a yoga course.

They just need to take that first step.

And if that’s you…don’t accept the status quo, take action now.
