🏡 Oakleigh progress continues behind the scenes…

While there may not be much to see just yet, lots is happening behind the scenes as we continue to move forward with the development of Oakleigh.

Last week, our ecology surveys were completed.🦇🌿

We were especially delighted that the wonderful Amie, an Undershaw Education Trust alumna, carried out the surveys for us in her role as a Senior Ecologist.

There really is no greater reward than continuing to work with our students long after they have left our school. Seeing them grow, develop and become experts in their chosen fields — and then having the opportunity to work alongside them — is incredibly special. 💙

A huge thank you to Amie for helping us take another important step towards bringing Oakleigh to life.

Watch this space… there’s plenty more to come! ✨

We were excited to get our banners up at Oakleigh this morning and start the Phase 1 works on site.

It’s fantastic to see this project taking its first steps towards becoming a new SEND school as part of the Undershaw Education Trust and supported by Leo Lion Foundation. We’re proud to play a role in creating a purpose-built learning environment that will support future generations of young people and provide valuable educational opportunities within the community.

We look forward to sharing updates as the development progresses.
