Speaking of recent heatwaves... We are delighted to share that we have been awarded the Eco Schools Green Flag, with distinction, for our work in the Eco Committee. This year, we've focused on biodiversity in our grounds, energy conservation and making transport more sustainable.

Our children are committed to helping our planet 🌍 by doing all they can to halt and reverse climate change, biodiversity loss and pollution, and we are SO proud of them! 👏🏽

📣 Hot Weather Update - Early Collection Option 📣

Due to the high temperatures, we have made the decision to allow parents and carers to collect their children from school at 1:00pm today and tomorrow should they wish to do so.

We will remain open, with measures in place to keep children comfortable and safe in the heat.

☀️ Hot Weather Update ☀️

We are continuing to monitor the hot weather closely and are making adaptations throughout the school day to help keep children safe and comfortable. This includes cancelling PE lessons, moving children from particularly warm classrooms into cooler, air-conditioned rooms, keeping children indoors at lunchtime, and adapting activities where needed.

All after-school clubs are cancelled this week, with the exception of ActivSports clubs. We have been in contact with the provider, and all ActivSports sports sessions will take place in the hall and be adapted to ensure activities remain low-intensity.

How you can help:
- Send a named water bottle every day.
- Provide a named sun hat.
- Apply sunscreen before school and send in a named, nut-free sunscreen for reapplication if required.
- Children may wear their PE kit and sandals to school if these are cooler and more comfortable than their school uniform.

Please keep an eye on school communications as we continue to review the situation and will send updates as needed

Our Loseley Fields choir sounded amazing at Choir BLAST yesterday! 🎶✨

We are incredibly proud of every single one of them and the fantastic performance they gave.

A huge thank you to everyone who came along to watch and support them. Your encouragement means so much.

And an even bigger shout-out to all the wonderful people who work so hard to make happen. It’s such a fantastic event, and we love being a small part of it each year! 💙🎵

A reminder that it’s Non-Uniform Day tomorrow! 👕✨

In exchange for your child wearing their own clothes for the day, the kindly ask each family to donate a filled Jolly Jar for the Jolly Jar Stall at the Summer Fair.

A Jolly Jar is a jar (with lid) filled with wrapped sweets or small toys, stationery, craft items, or other fun surprises for children. Please note that, as we are a nut-free school, any chocolate or sweets included in Jolly Jars must not contain nuts.

Jar collection will take place in the playground in the morning. Thank you for your support! 💛
