We’ve officially opened our doors at N Wi******er, and we couldn’t resist sharing a glimpse of our newest nursery. ✨

With an atelier where creativity takes centre stage and a spacious garden for Forest School-inspired experiences, there are opportunities to learn around every corner. 💛

📚 This Black History Month, we’re celebrating the power of stories and the role they can play in helping children understand themselves, their families and the world around them.

We recently sat down with Laura Henry-Allain MBE, creator of JoJo & Gran Gran and the Maya and Marley series, to talk about the stories that shaped her childhood, the importance of representation in children’s books and what community means to her. 🤍

From seeing your own experiences reflected in a story to discovering lives and experiences different from your own, Laura shares why every child should have the opportunity to see themselves in a book.

🎨 String, paint and Vivaldi… welcome to Doodle Dance at N Highgate.

In the Atelier, the children turned swirls, waves and curls into colourful pieces of process art, moving to the sound of Autumn by Vivaldi as they painted. 🎶

Inspired by the annual Hello Yellow campaign, the children’s artwork will also be sold to help raise money for YoungMinds supporting children and young people’s mental health. 💛

✨ This Black History Month, we’re celebrating the achievements and contributions of Black people, both past and present.

From books and stories to music, food, art and play, our nurseries will be creating opportunities for children to discover Black history and culture as part of their everyday learning.

Because every child should grow up seeing themselves and the diverse world around them reflected in their learning. 🌍

Celebrating the stories and voices that continue to shape our world - this month and always. ♥️

Pumpkin season has officially arrived at N Battersea! 🎃

This week, the children have been discovering where pumpkins come from, how they grow and the journey they take from tiny seeds to the pumpkins we see at this time of year. 🍂

At N, we see the environment around children as the third teacher. We believe the spaces around them can inspire new ideas and give children the freedom to explore their creativity in their own way.

Sometimes, a change of scenery is all it takes to see things differently 🎨💡
