We're recruiting 5 Employment Specialists to join our Connect to Work team.

Join our Employment Specialist Academy, where you'll gain an insight into the role, build practical skills and get a day in the life experience.

📍Day in the Life: 19 October at the Dunrossil Centre, Gloucester
📍Practical Workshops: 26-29 October at Shire Hall, Gloucester

Participants will have the opportunity to apply for live Employment Specialist vacancies following the programme.

After time out of work and facing health challenges, J wanted his confidence back and to feel valued.

With tailored support from his Employment Specialist Oxana, J rebuilt his confidence and is now in a permanent role at Bournside School, which he enjoys - something he said wouldn't have been possible without the Connect to Work programme.

It was great to be out in the community at recent MSK (musculoskeletal) education events, where Connect to Work joined local physiotherapists to speak with people on the MSK waiting list.

Many of the people we met wanted to talk about how their health was affecting their work, or their plans to return to work. We're pleased that these conversations have already led to referrals into the Employment and Skills Hub, helping people access personalised support with employment, health and wellbeing.
