After having to deal with Mr Evans and Mr Baker this year (sorry to those who have to deal with Mr Evans again for another year!) the Y3 children had an opportunity to get their revenge!

Thank you to everyone for your support this year. The staff here at Widden are enjoying a final 'staff meeting' before a well-earned summer break! We are also sadly saying goodbye to a number of long-serving members of staff. Thank you for everything you have done for our wonderful children.
We are lucky enough to be joined by other local headteachers and our much loved long-standing headteacher, Tim Cooper.
We are also sending a warm welcome to Dave Hill who will be our new Headteacher in September. We were lucky enough to welcome him to our very special community here at Widden earlier this afternoon. Welcome, Mr Hill!
Again, thank you to everyone associated with Widden: staff, governors, parents, children and local community. You are the heartbeat of this amazing school.
Have a safe and restful summer and we look forward to seeing you again in September.
