I’m was feeling the need to continue creating with these colours after finishing these cards, so I pulled out some 12x12 cardstock for a private gathering that’s happening here in the Studio this evening.

I will share more of that later, but for now, I’m really enjoying these minimal stamping creations!

At this month’s classes we’ve been using a lovely colour combo of two great In Colours, Barely Blush and Crisp Cantaloupe and I’m here for it, love these two together.

Minimal stamping on these, just some gold embossed butterflies and a label from the Bordered In Beauty bundle. The foliage is from the Natures Symphony die set which I love!

Paper Pumpkin fans……

The April box “Lakeside Retreat” has been a breath of fresh air, creating cards and projects for men, something I find quite challenging.

As a subscriber we get to purchase additional items/add ons and kit refills. This sweet little die set has been created to co-ordinate with the April/May and June boxes.

One thing I love to do……..

….. is create packaging that co-ordinates with the card I’m giving.

This gift packaging is a good size, would fit a hand cream, body wash, or a whole selection of sweets or chocolates.

It uses just one sheet of cardstock and is pretty straightforward to create. I taught this at a recent class and will be offering a PDF tutorial to share how it’s created.

I originally created some cards using Crumb Cake as my base colour but wanted to switch it out with some Secret Sea and Cloud Cover, just love this colour combo, they work amazingly together!

The Fern & Flora stamps are great for pretty cards but quite useful for those masculine projects we often find tricky!

I just LOVE the ferns in this set, the stamp plus that fabulous die!

I’ve stuck with just two ink colours, Secret Sea and Crumb Cake, adding some gentle blending to my background layer to take away some white space.

By adding flowers it gives these cards a more “feminine” touch but you could take these away and lean more to that masculine card we all struggle so much with!

I recently created some gifts for those attending my Catalogue Launch and Paper Pumpkin Launch events and wanted to share that I've created a PDF Tutorial so that YOU can re-create these sweet little gift boxes at home.

The PDF tutorial gives you measurements and a written section explaining how to create the project, with a brief video showing the gift box itself, so you can see what the finished project looks like. I also share the template, where to cut/adhere and which products I've used.
