🌿 A little space has become available in our Willow Room! 🧸💛

Due to a lovely family moving out of the area, we now have a baby space available in our cosy and welcoming Willow Room.

Our warm, nurturing baby room provides a high standard of care, where little ones can feel safe, happy and settled while enjoying lots of opportunities for sensory play, exploration and discovery. 🥰✨

We also offer flexible hours to help meet the needs of your family.

🌿 The Adventures of Teddy Boy 🌿

We are very excited to introduce
Teddy Boy to our nurser! 🐻💚

Each week, Teddy Boy will go home with one of our little Bears to enjoy some special adventures together.

Families can:
📖 Read a story together
🌳 Take Teddy on an adventure
📸 Take some photos
✏️ Write a little note about what you got up to

Please bring Teddy Boy and his book back to nursery so we can share all his wonderful adventures with everyone!

We can’t wait to see where Teddy Boy goes! 🧸✨

UPDATE ❤️

We are incredibly relieved to share that our bikes have now been found and returned safely.

The parent of the young people involved has spoken with us and has expressed their sincere apologies for the upset and distress this incident has caused our staff, children and nursery community.

The young people have returned the bikes and are now helping to clear the weeds and tidy the fenced-off area outside the nursery.

We would like to thank everyone who shared our original post, kept an eye out and offered their support. We are extremely grateful to our wonderful community. ❤️

💔 Absolutely heartbreaking news for Enchanting Childcare Kingsway💔

We are devastated to share that our garden and shed were broken into last night. Sadly, a number of our children’s resources and equipment have been stolen — including our brand-new bikes, which were purchased using money raised through the incredible fundraising support of our families and community. 💔

If you are local to Kingsway or Quedgeley, please keep an eye out for any children’s bikes or equipment that may appear for sale or be abandoned locally 🚲

We would also be incredibly grateful if local residents could please check their Ring doorbells, CCTV or other home security footage from last night, particularly if you live close to the nursery. You may have captured something that could help the police identify those responsible.

We are currently in the process of reporting this to the police and will keep you all updated.

If you could please share this post, it may help us reach more people across our local community.

Thank you!

🧱✨ Building, creating & exploring! ✨🧱

Our children in the Dandelion room have been getting creative with loose parts and natural, recycled resources, using their imaginations to design, build and problem solve! 🌿

At Enchanting, we LOVE reading — and that includes our staff! ❤️📖

Some of our amazing staff from both of our settings have started their very own book club! 🥰

It’s such a lovely opportunity to come together outside of our usual work, enjoy some team bonding, share our thoughts and opinions, and of course… have a good chat about a book we’ve all just read! 📚☕️

We even have our own little quiz and book rating each time — because what’s a book club without a bit of competition?! 😂

And what better year to start it than 2026 — the National Year of Reading! 🎉 The campaign is all about encouraging people of all ages to reconnect with reading and make it part of everyday life.

We’re proud to be a nursery where a love of books starts with the children — but definitely doesn’t stop there! ❤️📚

🍂✨ September Adventures at Enchanting! ✨🍂

September has been filled with little discoveries, big smiles and lots of learning! 💚

From exploring nature and our local surroundings 🌿🌳 to practising counting, recognising numbers and developing our writing skills ✏️🔢, the children have been learning through every adventure.

We’ve also loved exploring the new local park and enjoying the great outdoors! 🛝✨

What a special start to the new term! 💚
