IMPORTANT HEATWAVE UPDATE:
Thursday 25th June, SHARP will close at 1pm instead of the 2pm closure I had already put in place. This is to keep everyone safe.

Due to the extreme heat warning I have decided that SHARP will close at 2pm today (Wednesday) and tomorrow (Thursday). Could you please arrange to collect your service users / family member at this time. If you are unable to do so we are providing a dedicated space using all of our cooling power between 2pm and 3.30pm.
I think you will agree that it is difficult to keep cool in these temperatures and I don't want anyone to feel miserable!

While we are experiencing high temperatures over the next few days we have been advised not to go out in the sun.

Therefore there will be no outdoor activities taking place. They will be replaced by alternative indoor activities. We expect to be back to normal once the temperatures return to normal for this time of year. Thank you for your understanding.

It’s Fitness Friday for our young learners group. Here are some photos from today.
A big thank you to David for coming in to Fitness Friday and doing a great circuits work out.

Our guys had a great day yesterday at the Big health day organised by Gloucestershire health and Care NHS foundation Trust.

As we are having a heat wave  this week please take note that our learners should be wearing suncream and have a hat available for when they go out from SHARP.

Wow, it’s been a really busy few weeks for SHARP and our learners have been out and about. We’ve talked about our personal well-being and how connecting with nature can benefit us all. So we’ve been out walking in countryside and out on the Willow boat. Along with a few other trips and fun activities. Check out our photos to see what a great time we’ve been having.
