PATA Elmbridge Under Fives Playgroup

PATA Elmbridge Under Fives Playgroup PATA@ Elmbridge Under Fives is a friendly, local community playgroup situated in the grounds of Elmbridge primary school.

We have separate play rooms for our rising 3’s children and Preschool children caring for children from 2years old to school age. We accept all childcare funding and vouchers. We provide a safe, secure and rich environment for the children to learn and explore, encouraging the children to form strong relationships with peers and familiar adults. We enable the children to feel safe, happy and secure, building on their confidence to become independent and resilient risk takers.

World Smile Day is a global celebration dedicated to positivity, kindness, and the universal power of a smile. The day comes from Harvey Ball, the artist behind the iconic yellow smiley face, who decided we needed a day to celebrate smiles.

This week in setting, we've been reinforcing the importance of oral health. Activities helped children to learn more about looking after our smiles and offered lots chances to practice cleaning teeth!

Choosing a book to take home and share with their families encourages communication and language skills as well as fostering an ongoing love of books.
